Good team of lads...
Happy with the service I received from Blackpool Design Coachbuilders. I wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted at the start as the work was for a new oven cleaning business, but Mike and the team filled in the blanks and came up with a great job on my Vito van. Really friendly, quick and helpful service — would definitely recommend giving them a shout if you need any skilled work done.

Ardingly Ifield Solar ( pupils from Ardingly College & Ifield Community College) Ardingly Ifield Solar normally build solar powered cars to race across Australia in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge (3000km). They are the only school pupil team from Europe to have ever entered this gruelling event. To widen the educational impact on green technologies the team acquired sponsorship from GEW (EC) Ltd and the Rae family to purchase and retrofit a double decker bus. The bus was designed by the team to have a laboratory downstairs and a teaching design area on the top floor. Solar panels on the roof provide internal power. The idea is for the bus to facilitate after school STEM clubs at Ifield, to go to primary schools (which often do not have laboratories) to enhance the key stage 2 syllabus and thirdly to act as a stepping stone for school refusers. The team chose BDC because of their engagement in the project and their obvious knowledge and track record. Even though separated by a 5hr journey the team were able to develop with BDC ideas into realistic solutions. We were not disappointed and are delighted with our STEM bus. What a great facility, thank you BDC. Dr Andrew Spiers MBE , Project Manager of Ardingly Ifield Solar
