Customers consistently praise the company's exceptional customer service, professional approach, and the team's supportive and knowledgeable assistance throughout the conversion process. Moreover, they are highly impressed with the outstanding design and quality of the campervans, finding the end product to exceed their expectations.
We have recently taken delivery of our new REEF and are absolutely delighted with it, it is everything we dreamed of and more. Scot, Jane and the team at Consort have been so supportive along our journey.
When we went to see Consort it was clear from the offset that they had significantly raised the game - in design, quality, and customer service.
Having met Jane and Scot we were incredibly impressed with their passion and drive to ensure a great experience for their customers. The design and quality is outstanding.
From start to finish the service, knowledge and helpfulness not just of Scot and Jane but the entire team was second to none. And as for the motorhome itself? Great!
Scot and his team do what it says on the tin and much more, their professional approach, attention to detail and concern to deliver excellent customer service throughout the process and beyond is exemplary.
We collected our Consort Reef on the 14th October and we are absolutely delighted with it. We decided to downsize from a Cathargo C Tourer and after several months of looking we came across Consort. What good luck !! We did a factory tour and witnessed the excellent quality of the materials and the workmanship by the team. We couldn’t be happier. Thank you to Scott, Jane and everyone. And to Ryan for his knowledge and patience at the handover. All the very best for the future.
We picked up our Oslo in early March after spending around 18 months researching all types of panel van conversions before settling on Consort. We absolutely love the quality of the build and finish and the layout is perfect for us. We were especially drawn to the large fridge/freezer and extra work surface area. All the staff on the factory tour were very friendly and passionate about the company and their contribution to producing a high quality van conversion. On collection day we received a comprehensive handover from Ryan whose product knowledge is excellent and so is his patience! One of the major reasons for choosing Consort was the excellent after sales service and the personal touch from Scot and Jane offering helpful advice and recommendations without being pushy. We've contacted the customer support line a couple of times and they've been more than helpful answering our queries. We've been away almost every week since collection and the van has been absolutely fantastic! We are delighted with our choice and the Oslo has certainly turned heads on the campsites we've visited. We've been more than happy to recommend Consort and even given tours and handed a brochure out! Thanks to Scot, Jane and all the team at Consort.
After our factory tour, we ordered the Pace XL in January 2024 to be ready for November 30 when I retired from work, starting our adventure from day one. Our reasoning behind the choice of the XL was the extra boot space it afforded, as we were used to a very large boot from our previous coach built van, a Chausson 748EB. Being able to customise the XL with Consort was a must, using our previous experience & knowledge with input from Jane, as a good guide to make informed decisions on the new van & accessories. Picked up the van from Consort on December 3. A great experience with much appreciated input from Ryan at the handover, who’s product knowledge was excellent throughout. Nothing was too much trouble for him, to show us & explain with some good tips, exuding passion for the quality of Consort’s conversion work. Buying a winterised van was important as we will be touring year round. Our first trip was in December followed by an unexpected trip to Blackpool in January where it got down to -4c overnight, but we were snug & cosy inside, warmer than the Chausson. Later in the month we were wild camping on the Nevern Estuary, Pembrokeshire so on both trips, the maximum capacity lithium batteries we chose as upgrades, lived up to our expectations, not dropping below 70%. We’ve already booked our ferries for our 6 week European Tour in April & the North Coast 500 in late September, hopeful to catch the northern lights. We are very pleased with our purchase from Consort, we made a good decision as the quality of the XL is excellent & up to the endurance of many planned journeys going forward. The build quality of the conversion & hardware inside the vehicle are first class & every aspect has lived up to or exceeded our expectations. Better than our last van by a mile & other well known brands we’ve seen & considered. By nature I’m fussy & can be difficult to please, on this occasion I feel completely satisfied with the van & would recommend Consort to anyone. We’re currently sat in the van in the Forest of Dean enjoying the comforts as I write my review which is well founded. Thank you all at Consort, keep up your great work. April to June 2025, 1st European trip to Germany, though Austria & Switzerland into Lake Garda, Italy. Van is meeting & exceeding our expectations. Now heading back into France before heading home.
We have now had 2 long weekends away in the van, and it was absolutely brilliant. The weather has been glorious so we had some fantastic long walks, one weekend in the Forest of Bowland and the 2nd in Silverdale. We were very lucky that our first ventures were blessed by such good weather and that we could get some great walks in, knowing that we'd be comfortable, cosy and have a hot meal when we got back. We really enjoyed cooking in the van, it's such a well designed space. Everything worked so well and suited us perfectly. The gas hob means you don't have to worry about using up battery power, and the microwave is just right for warming up that 2nd essential cup; fresh coffee in the morning looking over fields and woods is always the best brew ever! It was quite chilly but the van warmed up so quickly that we didn't need the heating on for long. We left the duvets on the seats so making up the beds was quick and easy. Last weekend we did 4 nights without hook up and the battery was still at around 50% when we left. Getting a van was one of the biggest decisions we have made together, and getting one from Consort has made it one of the very best. Can't wait to be off again! Many thanks to you and all the team. Best wishes, Michelle and James
Thought it was time to post a review about our Consort Reef now that we've had it for nearly 4 months, travelled over 3,000 miles and spend over 35 nights under its reassuring roof! For those that want the highlights... Fantastic company to buy from, excellent build quality, superb pressure free advice, fantastic handover, perfectly thought through layout and from us, certainly no regrets....buy from them! We upgraded from a smaller Ford Transit Custom pop-top campervan, so the Reef obviously offers us so much more space, storage and a washroom. That space comes at a cost, its a bigger van after all and so needs more space to park it etc. Why we went for the Reef is that the layout really worked for us, we wanted a larger lounge area that could be turned into a long bed (I'm over 6ft and didn't fancy sleeping across the van) and this coupled with a sizable boot space really hit the mark for us. As many other reviewers have said, Scot and Jane really know there stuff when it comes to designing campervans. This means you end up with a van that simply works, whether you're away for a few days or a long tour, in hot climes or fighting that horizontal rain and wind in Ireland. We love the places to put drinks down where you might need them, the high level fridge (no bending to access it) and the simple controls to check all is functioning as expected. So after our first few months of ownership we are delighted we went with Consort, the van just works and the layout is perfect for us. We have every confidence that this is a campervan we will enjoy and travel with for many years. Oh, and do the factory tour before you buy, it was a great insight into what Consort do and why they are the best....the attention to details and quality is only too clear! Thanks Scot, Jane and all the team at Consort
