Customers consistently praise the exceptional sales service, highlighting agents like Daryl Campbell and John Hugh's for being welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful. They appreciate the honest approach and the ease of the car buying process, leading to a very positive overall experience.
Bought a late 2020 Mercedes GLC 300 DE from Donnellys. I put a small deposit down to hold car until I got money from my own car that I had sold elsewhere as weather was bad and proper inspection was impossible. When I went back to purchase car I noticed scratches on passenger side of rear bumper and what I thought were a lot of barely visible small dots of paint all over front of car (even though salesman thought it wasstone chips). It took approx 5-6 weeks to get car in for work and on checking main issue i.e. rear bumper all looked okay (again it was raining). On returning home and after cleaning car I was shocked to see the whole front covered in blotches of paint where someone had obviously used a touchup brush to cover the minute dots in a totally amateur effort. I phoned and was told they would take blotches off and leave front as it was before work was done. It turned out salesman was off for 2 weeks which he didnt mention so I asked for manager and to be fair he did setup work and courtesy car within few days. However when I collected car again it still wasnt great and some blotches were still very noticeable. I said I thought car was in worse state than when I first bought it but he said they had done best they could. Hence this review as I dont think this response is in any way satisfactory.
Some unusual and exotic defenders on display.
I had a van booked in for a recall but after talking on phone to their service reception lady I decided to look at reviews. She was very unpleasant and off putting. I cancelled and went to another dealership. My wife had also bought a new car some weeks back and obviously she won't be bringing it back for servicing in this dealership. She had her own experience with them. Staff needs a few training days.
I recently purchased a car from Motorstore in Dungannon with the help of John and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From my very first phone call, John was professional, straightforward, and a pleasure to deal with. Any questions I had were answered quickly—he was always just a call away. The car itself was in pristine condition, exactly as promised. I would definitely return to Motorstore in the future. Thanks again, John!
First time visiting — and unfortunately, it’ll be the last. Despite emailing twice to arrange viewings for two specific cars, I received no reply. I went ahead and visited in person two days later, only to be handed keys to the wrong vehicle, which hadn’t been cleaned or prepared for display. The trade-in offer for my car was well below market value — up to £1,500 less than quotes I received from two other dealerships earlier the same day. There was also little to no flexibility on the listed prices, whereas other dealers were happy to offer a £500 discount. When I shared details of recent work done on my vehicle, I was met with scepticism and made to feel as though my honesty was being questioned. Altogether, it was a baffling and disappointing customer journey. First time here, and it’ll be the last.
