It was my first time hiring a camper van, I wasn't sure what to expect. But ah I'm so glad I did!!! I know this is the start of new things for us.. lots of adventures hiring the camper van & making more memories as a family. I cannot recommend them enough.. They were super helpful from the moment I created the booking.. It sleeps up to 4 people. It comes with: -Sleeping Bags, Duvet & Pillows -Docking Station & Games -Cooking Utensils, Tea Towels ect -Cooking Hobs -Fridge -Storage Draws & Much more... The price of hire is absolutely amazing as well. Cant wait to book again soon x
Hired Bertie for 2 nights. He took my daughter to her school prom on Friday and then we had the 2nd night away in Skipton with him. The whole family loved him! He was kitted out with everything you need to get going and was comfortable too. The twinkly roof lights were amazing. Couldn't not recommend GDH enough, the full process, was effortless and so easy. we took Boss for the weekend and was faultless, the drive was smooth and comfy, the outside paintwork gets lots of attention with plenty of people smiling,stopping and talking about it. I did 400 miles from blackburn to London and back all on1 tank, when It came to camping it is full kitted out with everything needed and more, comfy enough for 2 large adults and 2 kids.. Will 1000 percent be using again.
Absolutely brilliant company, van was immaculate and kitted out to a very high standard kids absolutely loved it, the guys went out their way to accommodate us with our hire so we highly recommend hiring one of these fantastic vans from GDH.
This was our first motorhome experience and, even though we experienced an ongoing issue with the leisure battery (which meant some of the facilities didn't work properly during the hire), Tim and Jack were extremely supportive and did everything they could to try fix it for us. Couldn't fault their friendly and very caring attitude towards providing us with the best hire experience possible. If it wasn't for this issue, we would have rated it 5* but either way we'll definitely come back and use Easicampers Blackburn for our next motorhome holiday!
Pickup a 6 berth motorhome a day before we traveled. Great staff. Explained all the controls. NC 500 here we come!! When the pump was switched on. The fresh water just leaked out. Phoned the help line no. Teddy from Edinburgh branch explained the defrost switch needed to be off. Eventually managed to find the switch. Sorted. Then noticed the floor was always wet when the pump was on. Found out it was a leaking bathroom tap. Switch off pump most of the time when we are on the road. Not much we can do. Minor set back. We on holiday so just enjoyed. No major issues. The staffs did tried their best to find a plumber. As we were travelling all the times. Just not practical. By that time. We used to the leaking issues and just live around it. Enjoyed NC500 very much. Need to do it again. Amazing place. Despite the set back. I will use them again in the future. They were genuinely tried to help. But we were in the most remote area of Scotland. Maybe next time we be more lucky. Thanks to Jake and Mango and Teddy for your warm and friendly service. Tony C
As mentioned in other reviews, the staff are so friendly and helpful! We dealt with Wendy over the phone organising things, and Darren and Chris for the pick up / drop off. The van was great value for money, and overall we were really impressed with it, and had a wonderful time touring around Scotland for 10 days. There were a couple of little issues that we fed back to the guys but nothing major.
Hired a VW California from here and drove up to Scotland for a week. We had the best time and have just booked again for this year - one of the best holidays we've had, seriously. The freedom and exploration in the comfort and cosiness of a VW campervan - perfection. Great service from the guys down there, they were flexible with our arrival, gave me a full demo of the vehicle and answered my many, many questions (sorry!). The vehicle was practically brand new, super clean and drove well. I had complete faith in it and never felt it would let us down which was a big part in me wanting to find a reputable company. On returning the vehicle it was hassle free and easy - just as their name says. Can't wait for our repeat trip this year! Thanks
Very helpful staff. Motorhome was exactly as described on the website, and we had no problems with it. On return the inspection was quick and friendly. The motorhome came complete with hookup cable, hose to take on fresh water and a bottle for the chemical toilet. The only thing missing was a levelling set (wedges), for some of the campsites we stayed on they would have been good. But great experience, recommended.
