Having visited the NEC last year and spent a small fortune on Camper magazines I finally decided upon a VW T6 Highline from Escape Campers. My wife liked the cabinetry design and layout, and just thought the quality of finish internally and externally was probably the best I've seen. The showroom is not what you would call hi-tech, but I liked the fact I could walk around the workshop. I especially liked the fact they make everything in-house. Thanks again Andy, I hope you like the post you forced me to make (just kidding).

Today there have been a couple of firsts for me: I've never left a review or driven a camper before! The guys at Escape-Campers asked me to post something, so here it goes. I have been thinking about buying a camper for a while, but the biggest problem has been making a decision as to which one. I followed various forums and I decided early on VW was the way forward largely because of the resale value. I popped along to Escape-Campers last Saturday only just to take a look, but I foolishly took the kids and there was no getting out of there without a new family camper. I collected the T6 this morning and I absolutely love it. It drives nicer than my Vectra, and I wasnt prepared for the head-turns from passing motorists. Only time will tell whether the whole camper van thing is for me, but its something I need to get out of my system, and I dont ever remember my kids being so excited. Happy Camping everyone.
