Just had a very positive experience with Hillside. Leisure with regard to ordering a spare part.Not only did they recognise the part after recieving my photo.But sent me a replacement free of charge by the next post. My Campervan is now 5 years old and due to the highest build quality is in virtually new condition with no faults apart Many thanks to all at Hillside especially Cath Ken Clayton

I have a small tear in my canvas roof. I contacted Hillside and very quickly they posted me a repair kit, which through no fault of their own eventually arrived. Unfortunately only patches , no adhesive. I've since acquired the appropriate adhesive and today I have made the repair, which looks good and blends in very well with the original canvas. Having caravanned for over 25 years we decided that it was time for us to look for a campervan. So around 6 years ago we travelled far and wide looking at many conversions, but Hubby really wanted a VW Crafter. We did find a couple but were disappointed in the layout and the build spec. Then Hubby went to the Caravan and Motorhome Show at the NEC, spotted the Hillside Leisure stand and was hooked. A few days later we were off to Derby. Phil is walking wounded and really needed a sink in the bathroom. Hillside listened to him and said ‘leave it with us’. That same week we got a call to say ‘we have fitted a sink in the bathroom on the demonstrator if we wanted to go down and have a look’. Wonderful. In 2019 we finally got our dream campervan. It is as though Hillside had us in mind when they designed the Hopton. Well thought out layout with plenty of room and an exceptional build quality. I have cooked with Induction at home for many years, so it was thumbs up when I saw the induction Hob. A decent size fridge, plenty of storage space in the pull out drawers and overhead cupboards. A secret pull out worktop under the fridge. The bathroom/wet room is very well thought out. There are sockets near the side and the back doors. We like to cook outside and we can even if a gale is blowing. The blown air heating is exceptional, so that the van is toasty even in Winter All the Hillside Crew are wonderful, they are so friendly but still very business-like. You really need to go and have a look around the Hopton. The Open Days are recommended.

We'd been researching campervans for years and were lucky enough to have Hillside (our top choice) on our doorstep in Derby, so visited often over that time with a huge number of rookie questions that were answered with clarity and patience, and importantly with no hard-sell! We collected our Birchover SWB 150ps manual in April '21 - we wanted to see how the 'van performed before leaving a review. So having just returned from our 13th trip, we can confidently say it performed brilliantly. Thomas (for the purchase) and Cath (for after sales) have been a joy to deal with! We found everything to be right - the price, the design, the quality - and it suits us very well. We wanted a large fridge and found their larger than standard 65 litres is great, we wanted to be able to free-camp and found the solar panel meant that not once did we need to plug into electric on our recent 5wk tour of France (for fridge, lights and mobile phone charging). We were concerned about whether there'd be enough storage space for a longer trip but there was too much!! We were filling extra space with foam mattress off-cuts (we do have a history of travelling light tho!) We haven't needed the awning yet but may be glad of it in Spain next year 🤞 We just want to say a huge thank you and Merry Christmas to the Hillside Team - Homer's been a life enhancer!

Just completed the purchase of my 2nd vehicle from hillside in 5 years, I don't think I would have owned a vw camper from anywhere else, the van is perfect in every way, I'm particularly pleased with the cabinets inside, well built, practical and beautiful to look at Never any hassle even when I managed to break my leisure battery, a quick replacement and a lesson on battery maintenance!! Thankyou all
