I have no hesitation in recommending Northshore Custom Conversions. Approached Steve and Mike about a diesel heater for my T5.1. They are Webasto approved fitters so came complete with a 3 year warranty. Fitted the job in very quickly and also fitted a carbon monoxide monitor at the same time. Whilst doing the job they drew my attention to some electrics which were looking pretty poor, badly connected and a possible safety issue. They did a great job, they now look neat and tidy as well as being safe.

Mike and Steve recently completed a conversion on our ex RAC van and we can honestly say we wouldn’t use anyone else. The finish was perfect. So detailed and even made a new, bespoke design that we asked for. Some vans look great on the surface but when you look closely, you can see the difference in quality. Their work and their customer service both score 10 out of 10. Two trustworthy guys with a lot of experience to make sure you’re impressed with the result. When you investing in your van, you want it to be perfect. Go and meet them. You’ll see their work and you’ll be pleased you didn’t bother with anywhere else.

Myself and my wife approached Mike and Steve mid 2023 as we were planning our first Camper. After spending time with us going over what to look out for when viewing Vans we eventually located and purchased a new Panel van in October 23. We then revisited Mike and Steve and the design process started, what did we want, what could we have but didn’t want etc… final design was agreed and the conversion started. Stage 1 was to get the full internal conversion done and 3 months later it was complete. Build quality is superb, with Mike and Steve doing all the design and build themselves this gives a much better end result. Attention to detail was spot on across all areas and one thing they don’t do is cut corners! . Being our first Camper we were amazed how much can be built into the size of the Van, and how many extras they could include into the design. Stage 2 which has just been completed was the Pimping up of the bodywork, again after sitting down and going over the options (They have some serious patience dealing with customers like us!!!) they sourced, sprayed and fitted - Coilover suspension, rear spoiler, side bars and new front end. Again, brilliant quality job. Mike and Steve have enormous passion for what they do, it’s obvious they take a lot of pride in their work and handing over the final result to the Customer. I wouldn’t hesitate to point anybody in their direction who are either complete newbies like us, or more seasoned campers looking for help And advice from a firm you can definitely trust.
