Absolute 5 star 🌟 experience came the whole way from Ireland. Was lifted at the airport done the whole deal by phone an email with Will . An the team were so helpful when we got there looked for a VW over here but nothing matched the spec of PWA . Hence the reason why we bought it here can’t recommend Will and The PWA team enough!!! We are absolutely thrilled with our new T6 campervan from platinum wave automotive. From the moment we stepped into the showroom staff were able to answer all of our questions and help us to decide what features were important to us. We then looked around all of the vans for sale and never felt rushed and again all of our questions were answered. Once we had decided on our wan the customer care service kicked in and again they were able to answer all of our questions and keep us informed of the process. The after care service has also been superb, with a special thanks to Rob! By the way the WhatsApp service is an excellent way of communicating. We would highly recommend going to have a look at the showroom and chatting to the staff.

I purchased the transporter converted by platinum wave on the 15th of October 2024 and they gave me a warranty for one year for the van and three year for the conversion. On a recent break away while in Cornwall it rained frequently and heavy. I noticed there was water dripping through the top centre console so I had to put some tape across the top of the windscreen. After returning home I contacted platinum wave and explained the problem and mentioned that I found some screen glass under the passenger seat while changing a fuse which could only mean the screen had been replaced during or after the conversion. They said they had no knowledge of a screen been changed and I should contact TMO the warranty company. They told me it was not covered so I tried my insurance windscreen cover. No joy there so I had to pay up full for a screen change and if they could remove and reseal I would be refunded most of the money back. The lads from Nationwide Windscreen Services came and took great care when removing the screen but as it was not fitted correctly they cut through an electrical connection rendering it unusable. They then showed me the lack of sealant around the top and also told me it looked like it slipped while they were fitting it AND it wasn’t even the correct screen. After contacting platinum wave numerous times they sent an email saying its ware and tear and not covered. Now I’m £469.79 worse off and not happy.

Great experience from start to finish with Will and the folks from PWA. Had seen a van online from them that had already sold but Will used that as a basis of what I was looking for. Remotely, as I was working overseas at the time, we went through a number of vans - each with a meticulous video presentation by Will until we settled on the van that we ended up buying. We made a weekend of going to the (lovely) showroom to finally view the van before deciding to commit after paying a modest holding deposit. Collect it just over a week later after making some changes and additions with an excellent handover by the team. The style of the interiors, practicality and build quality I perceive to be second to none and the van is a real head-tuner! We have done several day trips and a long weekend away and are completely thrilled with the van - it’s delivered all of the things we were looking for. In summary, if you’re looking for a unique high quality build undertaken by professionals that are totally easy and friendly to deal with then look no further than the folks at PWA. We recommend them wholeheartedly.

I took my VW camper for its habitation service. The original conversion was by Platinum Wave but this was my first visit The staff were all really friendly and made me welcome with drinks while I waited. Mark the technician was really helpful and took the time to answer my questions. The service was really thorough about 2 hours and included the issue of the gas safety certificate. It was great to see where my van was created and I will definitely be back. Thanks Andy B
