Reset & Chill Campers was founded by Tom James, an individual deeply immersed in the vanlife culture and an avid outdoors enthusiast. His journey began with simple weekend escapes, transforming his work van with just a mattress. Over time, James recognized the enhanced enjoyment that comfort and luxury brought to the freedom of van travel, especially when combined with his passion for activities like mountain biking, motorbiking, snowboarding, and sailing.

James's extensive experience living in Chamonix Mont-Blanc in the French Alps, where he spent a decade building, renovating, and maintaining high-end chalets and apartments, honed his intricate skill set and developed a keen eye for detail and interior design. This background, coupled with his personal vanlife adventures across Europe, including trips to the Italian coast, Lac d’Annecy, and Corsica, fueled his dream of creating more sophisticated and comfortable mobile living spaces. The culmination of these experiences in 2019, following a month-long trip in a VW T6 Transporter, led to the vision for Reset & Chill Campers: to build larger, more luxurious vans that offer standing room, showers, and space for sports equipment.

The company's philosophy centers on promoting mental and physical wellbeing by enabling customers to reconnect with nature and escape daily life, all while retaining desired luxuries. Reset & Chill Campers specializes in custom-made, fully fitted campervan conversions, tailoring each build to the client's specific requirements, including accommodating gear like motorbikes or SUP kits.
