Had paid full money for a van. Accepted that I would pick the van up after they accepted my offer, a few days later they said they’ve changed their mind and van wasn’t for sale anymore and money was returned. Transpired they later the company just used it as a rental, breaking a gentleman’s agreement and very unprofessional. Have emails regarding this if a paltry excuse is given by them in reply to this.
We have recently collected our van from SCC and we could not be happier with what they have created for us. From our first meeting Martin and Matt listened carefully to our ideas and made useful suggestions. Throughout the build Martin responded very quickly to any questions and it was clear that there is nothing these guys don't know about camper conversions and they have a can-do attitude where anything is possible. We were sent pictures all through the build and were excited to see it coming together. However, when we finally collected it the quality surpassed our expectations. Everything is incredibly well built, very solid and beautifully finished, and we are glad they encouraged us to use top quality items and appliances. Obviously a camper conversion is a significant investment but considering the attention to detail and overall standard of the job I think we got good value, and we are grateful to Martin and Matt for all their hard work - it was a pleasure dealing with you guys!
We took a motorhome we had just bought because there was a problem with the kitchen gas burners. Thanks to them, not only did they tell us that the gas system was dangerous, but with their experience they also warned us that the motorhome had a lot of damp and that the best thing we could do was return it. They made a full gas system report confirming that it was indeed unsafe. Thanks to all the information they provided, we were able to claim a refund for the motorhome, so we’re extremely grateful for their help and honesty. We especially want to thank Martin, who advised us at every step on what to do (and what not to do) to avoid unnecessary expenses. When Martin and Matt agreed to take on our van conversion we were thrilled as it wasn't the easiest or the most straightforward. It took longer than expected as it turned out to have a few issues but we were incredibly grateful they didn't give up on it. Couldn't be more happy with the finished product. It's absolutely stunning and just how we specified. We were welcomed on every visit and never made to feel hurried even though they were very busy. Would definitely use Martin and Matt again but I don't think I'll ever part with my van 😀.
