First motorhome purchase for us and I cannot recommend Philip at Abbey Caravans highly enough. Philip made our decision very easy as he knew his stuff inside and out, answered all our questions (and there was a lot) and took time to explain everything to us in detail. Definitely worth a visit to see them if you are considering purchasing!

We recently went to view a caravan (Bailey Pursuit) and were greeted by Gareth who was more than helpful and was in no way the pushy salesman that you get in some places. This was a refreshing experience that put us at ease. After a short discussion we decided to purchase the caravan and left a deposit. When we returned to collect the caravan we again were greeted on our arrival by name which was a great touch. We were given a very comprehensive hand over of how to setup and how things worked. The whole experience was so relaxing especially as this was our first caravan and I would recommend Abbey Caravan & Leisure. We have now undertaken our first trip and are hooked. Hopefully see Gareth out and about too.

Called on Saturday morning with a leisure battery issue and spoke with Heather. Brought my camper down and Heather and Gareth were great. Short notice but they managed to sort a new leisure battery for me and fit it. Great customer service from Gareth who couldn’t have been more helpful!

So, after months of research online, I finally dropped into my local Dealer - Abbey Caravans - (a business I've driven by every day for 30+ yrs without any need to visit🙄), and was immediately impressed by the warmth and professionalism of the brains of the business - Gareth, the sales guy. Over two visits, my wife and I viewed over 20 different models and makes before finding our ideal first motorhome layout, largely due to the advice of Gareth & his dad Jim. No hard sell, no pressure, 'take as long as you need', sleep on it '....come back next month' ??? 🙈🙉 ... I think i wanted a motorhome more than they wanted to sell one, but genuinely their professionalism, advice and service throughout explain why this place is so busy with customers from everywhere. 10 days later , finance sorted, the professional handover service from Philip (& Heather in reception) just confirmed my observations that buying local and wanting top quality service was 100% the right thing to do.
