A fantastic team that went above and beyond to solve a vehicle issue on an unexpected day. Whilst travelling to Cornwall my beloved Campervan lost a wing mirror cover - frustrating and oh well ….. I will not write about the issue but focus on something that’s so rare: exceptional customer service the team at Base Campers, sourced bits, painted them and installed in a few days and went above and beyond. Just wow. What a rarity to find. I also happened to see some of thier great work. A brilliant team
I travelled to Cornwall for my first trip in my “new to me” campervan over Easter. After just 24 hours, I realised the fridge and heating had both stopped working. With it being Good Friday, I had very little hope of finding anyone who could help. After a lot of calling around, I came across Nick at Base Campers. He took the time to talk things through with me over the phone and explained what the issue was likely to be. He then kindly offered for me to drive over so he could take a proper look and check the leisure battery. Despite being fully booked and clearly very busy, Nick still made time to see me. He patiently explained the problem and talked me through how to resolve it. He wouldn’t even accept any payment for his time. While I was there, I had a look at some of the campervans he was converting for customers and was genuinely so impressed by the quality and craftsmanship. If I ever need another van, Nick at Base Campers will be my first call. A genuinely knowledgeable, skilled, and generous guy.

Huge thanks to Nick and his team for taking on our T5 SportLine van conversion after we were badly let down by another company. We turned up with a van full of furniture boards, boxes of electrical bits, gas fittings, blinds, sink, fridge etc and BaseCampers put it all together and retrimmed the front seats in less than a month. We'd been planning the interior for a year so we were absolutely delighted when we got the van back and a couple of weeks later we took off for Spain and spent 7 weeks following the sun.
