These adverse reviews do not tally with my personal experience of this company at all! James is friendly, fair and extremely knowledgeable about campervans, and having bought 2 vans from him, I have been highly satisfied with all aspect of the service. Prices are also very competetive. It's important to be clear on what you want from the outset, and if you are - that's what you'll get. Very happy with the vans I've bought, and also other modifications I've asked for at a later date. Happy to recommend this company !
These guys seem to know what they are talking about, sure, and may get you a good and well converted van, but they lack in professionalism in other areas. They recently charged me £125 cancellation fee (I cancelled an order less than 24 hours after I put down a deposit) after they neither gave me a receipt for my massive £4600 deposit (which made me nervous) nor a document showing their terms and conditions and mention of a cancellation fee! James justified the fee by saying he needed to charge me for the time he would have to pay his employee for coming to the workshop that day to discuss potential interior with me. My argument was that, if I had come up to view the van and not proposed to buy it, he would still have had to pay his guy! I myself spent a lot of time and money in petrol to get up to their workshop! I had been indecisive about layout of the interior, sure, but they do not have a proper website that shows all the combinations of colour, and couldn't show me any decent photos and put together a quote on a scrap of paper! Not very professional, sorry.
