Starting in a small unit in North Berwick in 2006, the company quickly aimed to become a leading brand in the premium segment of the UK campervan market. Their practical approach, rooted in years of family adventures in various campervans, informs their innovative and user-centric designs.

The company has achieved significant industry recognition and certifications, underscoring its commitment to safety and quality. In October 2012, Jerba Campervans was the first UK VW campervan company to secure full European Type Approval certification for all its layouts, proving the road safety of its vehicles. The same year, it became a registered campervan body builder converter for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, a status held by only a few UK companies. Further demonstrating its innovative spirit, Jerba gained a patent in 2015 for its unique pop-top roof design, which has since become a signature feature of its conversions. In 2018, the company joined the National Caravan Council (NCC) and received full certification approval for its designs, covering all aspects of safe mobile living. Jerba is also in the final approval phase for the Ford Motor Company’s National Converter Programme, extending its certified quality to Ford Transit Custom conversions.

Jerba Campervans specializes in converting new Volkswagen T6.1, T7, and Ford Transit Custom vans, offering five expertly designed layouts available on both short and long wheelbase models. They also provide three functional VW Crafter conversions for those seeking larger solutions. Beyond new builds, the company offers conversion services for customer-owned VW Transporter (T5, T6, T6.1), VW Crafter, and 2024 Ford Transit Custom vans, adapting their designs to individual requirements. Since January 2018, Jerba Campervans has been 100% employee-owned, a structure that the founders believe fosters higher levels of customer service and product quality. The company is also certificated for the Good Business Charter and accredited to the Real Living Hours Campaign, reflecting its commitment to responsible business practices.
