Project Yonder is a UK-based company specializing in the conversion of 4x4 Mercedes Sprinter vans into high-end, off-grid adventure motorhomes. Founded by Charlie and Grace, the company's ethos is deeply rooted in their personal experiences of extensive travel across Europe in their own tiny home. This journey, which took them from the UK to the northern tip of Norway and down to the Adriatic Sea, provided them with invaluable insights and knowledge that now inform the design and functionality of their bespoke vehicles. Their mission is to enable individuals to embrace the call of the wild, offering unparalleled comfort and sophistication for exploring remote landscapes.
The company distinguishes itself through its commitment to gas-free habitation systems, utilizing advanced 24V Victron Energy electrical setups that integrate engine and solar recharging capabilities. This innovative approach ensures year-round, fuss-free adventures without the need for LPG. Project Yonder's conversions are built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, chosen for its AWD capability, 9-Tronic automatic gearbox, and 190bhp engine, providing a superior driving experience. Interiors feature marine-grade cork flooring, extensive insulation, and a 10-inch Garmin RV touch screen control panel for effortless monitoring and management, even remotely via a mobile app.
Project Yonder has garnered significant industry recognition, including three major awards, notably winning First in class at the Caravan & Motorhome Club's 'Motorhome & Campervan Design Award 2024' for their 'Chairman's Edition' Freedom Mercedes 4x4. They offer distinct models like the NOMAD (medium wheel base), FREEDOM 4X (long wheel base), and UTILITY (long wheel base), each designed for specific adventure needs, with options for family-friendly solutions like bunk beds and pop-top roofs. The company also provides a Gear Shop for upgrades and accessories, further enhancing the off-grid experience.

I'm incredibly proud Mercedes-Benz Vans is able to supply Project Yonder with Sprinter vans for their 4x4 camper van conversions. This was our fourth visit to Project Yonder for accessories, and our satisfaction continues to grow. From the installation of a 628Ah battery, bug nets, and full Koni suspension, to the Aux Beam controller, all-around Lazer lights, Lazer ditch lights, and Raptor-painted exterior trim and bonnet, every upgrade has exceeded our expectations. Most recently, we added the Van Compass 4.3 Falcon adjustable suspension. Amazing!!!! Working with Charlie and Grace (and Oaty their dog) has been a pleasure—their expertise and professionalism have truly brought our vision to life. Even with our older Sprinter 906 4x4, which can be challenging to find accessories for, Project Yonder has consistently delivered outstanding solutions. We highly recommend Project Yonder for anyone planning and installing accessories or upgrades. We couldn't be happier :)

Is this your business?
A superb job by Charlie and Grace at a competitive price backed up by excellent knowledge and advice. Having searched around for someone to supply and fit our Dutch Van Parts roof rack, rear ladder, wheel carrier plus other bits to our HYMER Grand Canyon Crossover, Project Yonder were well worth the journey. Highly recommended.
Second visit to Project Yonder for some awesome upgrades to the van, supplied and fitted by Project Yonder. Project Yonder build the most beautiful vans using top spec products and will also help you out with supply and fitting upgrades to your own van. Project Yonder are Grace and Charlie and their attention to detail really shows in their work, Grace and Charlie are also top people and it's been a pleasure have them work on my van. Thanks guys.
We have had a number of parts fitted by Project Yonder to our 2024 Hymer Grand Canyon S 4x4 (almost all Dutch Van Parts). These include, spare wheel carrier, ladder, rear diff protector, laser spots, overhead shelf, partition curtains, front lugs, Falcon suspension, rear box, a grown-up horn, and more... …and more to come! The Project Yonder team have immense knowledge & expertise, very happy with the work done, and Charlie, Grace, and Oaty, are so very nice to work with.
I took my van into Project Yonder to have a mix of parts fitted from both Dutch Van Parts & Mule Vans. A couple of oversights & compatibility issues were swiftly worked through by the Project Yonder team as they were able to apply their knowledge & expertise to my (comparatively) little project to what the team are typically working on. So happy with the work done by Project Yonder, I'll be making the trip back down for a second round of works in a couple of months after my first trip away in the van.
