Absolutely thrilled with the work carried out by Dan at Summerhill Campers! Communication was on point; I was kept in the loop leading up to, and during the work being undertaken. The pricing and quotation was honest and fair, and the workmanship was spot on. I would definitely recommend, so much so that I am having more work done in the near future. It’s really hard to trust somebody with your pride and joy, but Dan made me feel at ease with his knowledge, he showed me the van he was currently working on, and gave me plenty of reinsurances. Please bear mind he is in high demand, and rightfully so, I waited just under three months to get my van in for the work, and it was completely worth the wait, (If it’s one thing I’ve learnt over years of research and trawling through camper forums is that there are a lot of cowboy converters out there, so a good rule of thumb is to be wary of any Campervan converter that can fit you in straight away!!!) we waited years to get the Campervan we wanted, so what difference was another few weeks going to make?
Called by for help with a problem I had with a tinted window. I got the advice I needed and some recommendations as to who could help me further. While there I saw some of Dan’s work and rate the quality as exemplary. My camper is already converted but were I to want a conversion doing I wouldn’t hesitate to use Dan. This was the first time I have used Summerhill Campers. Dan carried out a number of enhancements for me on a recently purchased second hand camper van. This included the fitting of bespoke under slung tanks (which Dan managed to source), water pumps, water heater, an upgrade of all the wiring, and the installation of a battery charging system. I am really pleased with the outcome. All of the work has been completed to a very high standard. The communication from Dan is excellent. He is very professional, meticulous in his work, and a pleasure to work with. I will definitely use Summerhill Campers for future work, and would recommend them to others for any upgrade work.
