Excellent in ripping you off , but not solving any problems. I had an error code on the dash showing low air flow on the system. 200£ diagnostic and they quoted for 410£ on maf sensor- done it all and the problem was still there. Mechanic said he checked for air leaks - I went true my CCTV and gues what .. he did it without a smoke machine.. so that was a lie. Next thing they quoted me for 600£ on software upgrade and that is when I stopped it. Went to another garage - 10 min and the fault was located- stuck egr valve. Cannot believe that a Mechanic cannot identify egr problem on a diesel van... for me it was intentional. Avoid at all cost and do not give them reviews on the first vist ( they will ask you for it )

Ive been there to done my driver side wheel bearing on 23rd of September 2025 and told them to do full vehicle diagnostics, after the works done I’ve heard a worsened noise from the same side when I’ve took that to them again after another inspection they told me that my back plate was bent now all perfect and I’m good to go. Unfortunately, 4th of October i cant able to move my car because tie end rod was popped out, What they done is these guys forgot to put that crucial nut. Ive rang them to tell the issue they are giving another quote to fix that issue caused by them. After couple of days I’ve been there physically to explain what happened, they are telling that “I didn’t understand why you’re here, nothing happened to you you’re not been injured car is not crashed, bang” just like that. Thank to god I didn’t drive that on motorway. Never again good lesson.

Great service by professional friendly staff, from the guy who took my phone call and made the booking, to Phil the mechanic who supplied and fitted my battery at very short notice. I made the call at 1pm and my battery was fitted at 3:45pm. Very pleased with the service and more than happy to recommend them.

I wish I had read reviews on Trust Pilot before using Fastlane as it appears others have had similar problems to my own! I was recovered to Fastlane as they said they had specific Fiat software to identify and fix a gearbox problem. They gave a quote for work of £1640 and requested 50% up front, they confirmed that a breakdown of costs would be emailed but I never received this until we spoke 11 days later. The initial work was expected to take 2-3 days and I would receive updates on progress. We did not receive any calls and struggled to get through to them, when we did get through they said they would call back but did not do this until I chased up again. On confirming they had completed the initial work they quoted £5800 to resolve the issue and then broke down costs for original work which included £270 for a courtesy car (this cost was never mentioned and see pics of courtesy car!) It also included £450 for a service which I explained did not need doing as it had been done a week before! I challenged their under hand and crafty pricing and went to recover my vehicle to move to a different garage. On arrival they maintained that they had provided all costings appropriately but two staff contradicted each other on what had been done. During our disagreements I was called a ‘effing knobhead and effing bellend’ I decided to remove the vehicle myself and when asking for the keys was told ‘buy another one’ I fully intend to take this matter further and share other reviews regarding trading standards - I have made an initial enquiry for this. Please read all Trustpilot reviews (they told me they don’t recognise trustpilot!) If you do have work please get full quotation and breakdown before parting with any money.
