Vanbus embarked on its journey into van and campervan conversions in the late 1990s, born from the founder Ian's personal need for a versatile vehicle that could serve as a workhorse during the week and a surf wagon on weekends. Over the years, Vanbus has significantly expanded its operations, moving into a larger workshop equipped with advanced machinery, including CNC machines, upholstery areas, and a dedicated display and meeting zone. This growth has allowed the company to refine its product range and offer a comprehensive suite of services, specializing in full or partial conversions for various vehicles, particularly VW Transporters. Their expertise extends to flat-pack and bespoke furniture solutions, ply lining, CNC parts, vehicle sales, and automotive upholstery. Recently had a suspension upgrade with Vanbus and I can't fault the service received. I had a few conversations to discuss which product would suit me best and then only a few days after making a decision Ian contacted me to let me know that the new suspension had arrived and that they could fit it the following day. Took the van over that evening and got it back the next day. Really impressed with the SoLow coilovers they recommended. I've used Vanbus several times over the years and will continue to do so due to the attention to detail and the high standard of work carried out by Ian and the team. I'd highly recommend Vanbus to anyone looking at getting a van conversion or upgrades done.

Better late than never with my review but nonetheless, five stars for this chap. My partner and I had unsuccessfully attempted to cut a hole in the roof of our van ourselves and fit a vent (leaving it very not waterproof) and had to call every camper conversion company around to try and get it fixed urgently. After exhausting every conversion place in Bristol to be told it'd take at least 3 months to book us in, we gave Eclipse a call. The guy said we could run it in the following day as he couldn't leave us living in a van that was letting the rain in. He was fantastically polite and did a great job, fitting a different higher quality vent onto the van for a very reasonable price. I can't recommend Eclipse enough - helpful, reasonably priced and most importantly of all does a great job.
