Our Ford Tourneo van which we bought ten years ago has been maintained by Wellhouse Leisure ever since. Their advice and support for the odd few things we have needed to repair has been fantastic. I can’t recommend them highly enough. The conversion we have is brilliant.
We bought a newly converted Nissan NV350 in Oct 2024. We used it for single nights through the Winter and we only really became aware of the increasing number of issues once longer trips began in the Spring. David (owner) was horrified by my long email listing the problems with the conversion eg 4 scraping units doors, and immediately called me from his holiday in Portugal to apologise and discuss possible options to resolve the issues. Before the call I was very close to asking to return the camper. When I heard his final option of sending a driver across to the Isle of Wight to collect and return it to the factory so they could fix everything I understood his commitment to resolving everything and without me having to do anything. So instead, I suggested I drive the camper to Grantham (where I was attending a 6 day residential course) in July and they collect it and work on it then. David appreciated this offer and even offered to pay the ferry and petrol costs. Again he apologised and was clearly disappointed and somewhat mystified by how so many faults had slipped through their quality control and he assured me he would "get to the bottom of it". David himself even collected the camper on the Sunday evening and the camper was returned at a time to suit me, with every fault/issue resolved and more. So while we were initially devastated that our dream camper had so many issues, we are now very happy campervan owners who thoroughly recommend anybody buy a bespoke camper from Wellhouse Leisure. I was lucky enough to buy a used Wellhouse camper. Not only is the quality of the conversion superb but the service - even though I didn't buy directly from them - has been outstanding. Great company, we got our new Transit Custom converted by Wellhouse in April, they have a longish waiting list but it's pretty clear why, conversions are fantastic, lots of options and we'll worth waiting for the end result. We picked our Van up in April, very good after care as well, could not recommend them highly enough.
At the end of the camping season last year I was unfortunate enough to tear my canvass roof bellows on my Wellhouse camper. I tried a repair kit but it looked dreadful so I rang Matt at Wellhouse to see if he could help me with a replacement. Sure can he said and at a price that I thought was very reasonable for such a large undertaking. It did take a while to source a replacement kit due to our old friend Brexit and Covid but the job was completed last week to the usual 5 star Wellhouse standard and I am now ready for the off on April 12th. Many thanks to Matt and all the team for saving the day.
