Ben and Tom did a relatively small job for me, lining the rear of my Transit Connect. From the outset they were super friendly and welcomed the opportunity to complete this. Tom and Ben converted our SWB transit custom into exactly what we wanted. We originally found Woodrays just by searching the internet, their photos of other conversions they’d completed looked like the style we were after, and they were based nearby to us in Sheffield which was really convenient for us. It soon became apparent that we made the right decision, they were friendly and approachable, made us feel as though we could have whatever we wanted, but at the same time we valued their opinion on certain aspects which were less practical. The end result is fantastic. It was important to us to be able to transport bikes inside the van, which made our conversion a little bit more bespoke than average, but they got onboard with it straight away and the end result is exactly what we were looking for. The quality of finish is really good and they obviously care about the standard of their work. Some of their design features are really clever, like the way the front of our cabinet also serves as a table top, and the way they designed a pull-out table from the integrated storage unit. The electronics look really tidy and professionally done, and the solar panel on top was a great idea that works brilliantly. Price-wise, we feel they were about right for a bespoke design using quality materials and workmanship. We never felt like we were getting ripped off, never felt pressured to go for anything we didn’t really want, and if anything goes wrong in the future, we’ve no doubt they’d be willing to help us out. Start to finish, they did our whole van conversion in about 5 weeks, which was amazing. They made an effort to fit us in around their other commitments and delivered well in time for a deadline we had set ourselves. Overall, we had a really positive experience and we would have no hesitation recommending Woodrays to others looking for a part or full conversion. We’re so excited to have exactly the van we dreamed of, and can’t wait to use it as much as possible! Thanks again guys, top job!

We couldn’t be any happier with the beautiful van that Tom and Ben have built for us. We found Woodrays after looking at some campervans on Quirky Campers, which then led us to their Instagram account. We knew from the start that we wanted something more bespoke than an off the peg van, as have two big dogs that needed accommodating properly too if it was ever going to be any fun in such a confined space! We cannot believe that the guys managed to build us something with so much space for all of us, and with everything we asked for! And we just love the quirky touches that they’ve given us- check out the dog window😂 The whole process was easy from start to finish. Tom and Ben worked super hard to finish the van in time for us to go away this summer, and we had a blast on our first trip! Thank you so much for creating something so special for us. Tom and Ben are truly amazing at what they do. They listened to all our ideas, took them and made something magical. It was really important for us that the van was as easy to live in as possible and Woodrays managed to make our basic design into a bespoke living space that was adapted to our needs. I cannot fault their service and eye for detail, even when changes were made throughout the build. We now have not just a camper, but a new home.
