Needed a decent night’s sleep in our VW T6.1 conversion. The campervan is kitted out with a 112 RIB bed and, although comfortable, is a tad too firm for my aging bones. Enter Edge Campervans and their CampinComfort tailor made mattress topper. It fits perfectly onto the RIB and has proved to be very comfortable. We leave the tailgate door end of the bed down during the day and fold up the front and middle sections for a seat. The topper folds up neatly on the end, out of sight and ready for use at a moment’s notice when we turn in. When not in use (when we’re travelling) it is stored on the popup top’s bed. Out of the way but easy to recover when we camp up. Ordering from Edge Campervans was simplicity itself and the topper arrived, well packaged, just a couple of days later. Only downside (and this applies to all memory foam mattresses and toppers) is that you need to let it air for a few days after purchase. It gives the topper (or mattress) chance to lose the chemical smell that the foam releases. Full marks to Edge Campervans for a great product, a great price and a great service.
