Very disappointed with communication and customer service. Can't fault the firm on the good work done to install solar power on my van few years back, but a recent request in April 2026 for a service, engine coolant issue and busted side mirror resulted in getting bumped off until the end of June. This was communicated to me today, 13th May, being despite my initial enquiry being clear that I was due to go to Europe early June. I had also reciving an email in the interim saying 'booking mid-May' but then no respone to emails and a phone call asking for a firm date. No apology and a distinct lack of understanding today of the lurch I'd been left in by Hideaway not reading emails and communicating clearly. Would suggest anyone wanting help from Hideaway gets a firm agreement of when work will be done from the off.

Sam and Kevin were both brilliant to communicate with throughout the process including sending update photos whilst the work was being done.
