After a long, drawn-out search trying to find a quality conversion company that was not too far away, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Pebbl had recently moved 5 minutes from my home :) I dropped my pride and joy, T6, off with Paul to have all the electronics installed, including the leisure battery and hook-up, as well as a solar panel and a Fiamma F43 awning. The cost was very reasonable, but most importantly, the quality of the work and attention to detail were absolutely top-notch! I would not hesitate to recommend Paul and Pebbl to anyone; in fact, I have already done so!
Had a Diesel Heater fitted by Paul. Great service by him. Heater looks great. Fitted really well and Paul kept me well informed as he went. Picking the van up, he took the time to go through everything he did and how to work the heating system. Will definitely be a repeat customer and would thoroughly recommend. 👍
Absolutely fantastic service and nothing was too much trouble, bought an immaculate T5 and it has been throughly serviced and a brilliant handover with everything explained …. Would recommend to anybody …. Thank you
I am in love with my new van! The attention to detail that has gone into my van is amazing and the communication between myself and Ash has been next to none. I couldn't have wished for a better outcome on my van and really appreciate all the help during and after the purchase from Ash!
They work with most major commercial vehicles, though Volkswagen Transporters and Ford Transits dominate the workshop. For most builders, these platforms offer the best balance of space and parts availability. Pebbl Leisure handles everything from compact day vans to large-wheelbase panel vans. This means customers can bring an empty shell or buy a pre-converted vehicle directly from their Grantham showroom.
Absolutely. Pebbl Leisure specializes in bespoke builds tailored exactly to specific business needs. In practice, this ranges from mobile coffee shops to heavy-duty trade setups with specialized racking. The team designs every interior upgrade from scratch. As a result, clients get optimized storage and electrical systems built for daily abuse rather than weekend camping. Expect completely custom cabinetry and heavy-duty flooring.
The company installs comprehensive off-grid power systems. This includes lithium leisure batteries—power banks that safely store energy—along with [campervan solar panels](/services/solar-panels) and split-charge relays. For most builders, reliable electricity makes or breaks a trip. Pebbl Leisure fits 12V setups for lights and fridges, plus 240V mains hookups for heavy appliances. They handle the complete wiring process safely and professionally.

Last minute viewing of my VW Transporter, literally a couple of hours before the van was due to attend a van show. Needless to say the van was that nice, I bought it there and then even though it was £4K over my budget. Ash did a great job on the outside of the van (Eibach So Low springs 45mm, 17” Tomahawk Kato swamper alloys, Admiral All Terrain 235/65 tyres, matte black side bars, bumper protector, arch trims, and black sequential led side repeaters). He also included a 12 month third party warranty. I have since started playing with the inside, and may well go back to Ash for additional works. Nice guy to deal with 10/10
Yes, they frequently tackle partial jobs. Customers often request specific upgrades like [campervan pop-top roofs](/services/pop-top-roofs), diesel heaters, or custom upholstery. In practice, many people start with basic insulation and carpet lining before adding complex cabinetry later. Pebbl Leisure happily installs individual components like swivel seats or fresh water tanks. This means buyers can spread out their build costs over multiple phases.
Yes, Pebbl Leisure regularly stocks fully converted vehicles ready to drive away. These finished rigs typically range from £30,000 to £65,000 depending on the base vehicle mileage and specification level. As a result, buyers skip the entire build process. The company thoroughly inspects and services every van before sale. Buyers get a complete handover demonstrating how all the onboard systems operate.
They provide a comprehensive 12-month warranty on all conversion work and fitted components. For most builders, knowing a professional team backs the electrical and gas installations brings massive peace of mind. This means if a water pump fails or a cabinet hinge drops, the Grantham workshop fixes it. Base vehicles sold by the company also include standard mechanical warranties.
The process kicks off with a detailed consultation at their Grantham facility. Clients discuss layout ideas, material choices, and budget constraints directly with the build team. In practice, the company then drafts a comprehensive quote breaking down costs for insulation, electrics, and cabinetry. Once approved, customers secure their build slot with a deposit. Pebbl Leisure handles sourcing materials immediately afterward.
Prices vary wildly depending on the specification. A basic carpet lining and insulation job starts around £1,200, while a luxury off-grid setup easily exceeds £15,000. For most builders, the electrical system and pop-top roof consume the biggest chunk of the budget. Pebbl Leisure provides transparent, itemized quotes before any tools touch metal. This means clients know exactly where their money goes.
Absolutely. Pebbl Leisure ensures qualified technicians sign off on all hazardous systems. They issue official [campervan gas safe certification](/services/lpg-certification) and electrical compliance documents upon completion. In practice, this paperwork proves crucial for securing specialized insurance policies. Poorly wired rigs catch fire. As a result, the company strictly follows industry regulations using high-grade marine cables and proper ventilation for gas lockers.
