Top class service and top class knowledge! Highly recommend! Water pipe and battery change. Lucy who booked me in was very friendly and came out with Dave while I was showing them my issues. I felt like I was being listened to and my problems were being identified. Dave who fixed the van was really knowledgeable, reccomended the battery charger and battery to get and then went through everything with me after he fitted it so I knew how to prolong my battery life. I have so much confidence in the work and understanding of it now. Everything was very efficient, quick and friendly. Thank you so much. I will be using you guys again for any van problems. As a newbie to Campvans the buying experience at Rated Conversions Ltd was very good, with our modifications to a finished and ready to sell van accommodated without question. As a result we purchased the van on first sight, and collection arranged for a week or so later. And generally we have been happy with the design and construction on the conversion. tans the 2016 VW Crafter base van has been faultless Unfortunately a month or so after taking delivery we noticed that the rear skylight was leaking necessitating a 3.5hr drive back to Darlington for a refitting of the skylight. Unbelievably a couple of months later the front skylight also starts leaking. Another 3.5 hr trip to Darlington! Next we had an electrical problem with the Truma boiler (not a Rated Conversion fault) so we took the van to a local campervan specialist, the boiler was repaired but the engineer refused to reconnect it to the Gas supply and issued a Gas Warning certificate and condemned the gas system. This was because the gas bottle was not contained in a gas proof cabinet in the garage and there were insufficient gas vents in the floor. With the specialist’s threat of reporting RC to the gas governing body, RC took the van back to make corrections, but bizarrely fitted a gas cabinet for a tiny 3.9kg bottle and strapped the 6kg that they had originally supplied, to the outside - you couldn’t make it up!! We returned to our local specialist to fit the correctly sized cabinet. Finally, the RC vinyl graphic on the side of the van very badly delaminated. I asked RC to sell me a new graphic for me to fit locally. RC quoted me £1,000 inc vat (you read that right £1,000) my local graphics company who were to fit this, confirmed that RC had used the cheapest vinyl available hence the delamination, and the replacement should have cost £100-150 max. RC obviously knew I had no option but to accept their obscene quote if I wanted to get a matching graphic to the other side. I chose not to, deciding to remove all remaining RC graphics from the van Would I recommend Rated Conversions to any future buyers? No, not unless you go in with your eyes wide open and you live very close.

all vans are sold but company constantly re lists them on all selling sites

Had them carry out some bespoke design and conversion work on my van and I'm over the moon with the finished work. Good communication from the office, fair price and again work that can only be described as a piece of art!
