Super helpful and accommodating. We had a problem with our VW campervan whilst visiting the lakes - the water pump wasn’t working and the bench seat had got stuck in the lying down position requiring my daughter to travel in the front. They were really accommodating and squeezed us in, despite being busy and managed to sort us out before our long journey home. Highly recommend.
SJ Campers did a complete, bespoke conversion of my little Toyota Proace and it’s everything I hoped it would be. Lochy did an amazing job fitting it out and Ben and his team could not have been more nice or helpful . After sales service is second to none. I had a couple of tweaks that needed doing (personal preference- nothing to do with the build) and they were done immediately. Highly recommend 😀
I recently had some work carried out by SJ Campers for my VW Caddy Maxi conversion, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. From the very beginning, the team were helpful, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. The quality of the installation is excellent. Everything has been fitted neatly and professionally, and it’s obvious they take real pride in their workmanship. What I appreciated most was the attention to detail and the way they were happy to talk things through and make sure everything worked perfectly for the van and the way I use it. My Caddy has now become a really comfortable and practical space, and the work SJ Campers carried out has made a huge difference. It’s given me a solid foundation to build on as I continue refining the setup for my travels and photography adventures around the Lakes. It’s also reassuring to know that the electrical system and installation have been done properly by people who know exactly what they’re doing. That peace of mind is invaluable when you're living and travelling in the van. Overall, I would highly recommend SJ Campers to anyone looking for a professional, well-finished camper conversion or upgrades. Friendly service, great communication, and top-quality workmanship. Thanks again to the team.

I used SJ Campers to install windows, awning, solar panel and rooflight to my van. I went to 11 places for quotes, SJ Campers were not only very well priced, but they were the only ones who phoned me up that day with follow up questions, and provided an itemised quote. Whilst they are 300miles from my home, I'm very glad I went to them for the work. They are a well organised, professional team who want to help you get the best out of the install for your needs. I will be going back for a diesel heater to be installed as well. Feb 2025 Update - I went back to SJ Campers and asked them to quote for an electrical system. The quote came back lower than the one from NOHMA, and this included the labour, which wasn't included in the NOHMA quote! I opted to get SJ Campers to install the system, and install a diesel heater at the same time. I'm very happy with the work they have carried out, and now considering getting the rest of the build carried out by SJ Campers.
