Vine Place

Having trawled the interweb for quite some time looking to buy an Elgrand, there are a few companies who specialize in them, and seem legit, however what made me choose Vine is the rather extensive list of checks and work they do before they hand over the vehicle, that's worth a lot in my eyes...especially the rear catalytic de-core which other companies no not mention. Now, a big no no is what I did, and that is to buy blind..10hr round trip which I did not have time for, however speaking to Rachel, who never pressured me at all, we talked through the options, and put me at ease as there was no obligation to buy when delivered after a deposit was paid. Clare was my delivery driver whose knowledge showed answering my questions, friendly and again, no pushy sales pitch. After the test drive, the deal was done, and I am very happy with the Elgrand...and Clare, I apologize for the crap cup of tea !! If I'm being picky, I dropped a star as I feel the interior could have been cleaned / valeted to a higher standard...sandy grit in the back area, dirty cubbies, and the rear AC cabin filter had not been cleaned / replaced. All in all a pleasant experience. Thanks.

My first time purchasing an import so I was wary at first. However everyone at Vine Place put me at ease from the moment I stepped on the forecourt. Super knowledgeable about their vehicles and answered all the odd questions I had about imports. Once I had a deposit down on a car that was still overseas, they kept me up to date on it's movements and prepared it perfectly. Highly recommend at anyone wanting this type of import.

We have recently bought a car from Vine Place. I must say their knowledge of the vehicles is unmatched. I had previously done excessive research into the Nissan Elgrand before even considering viewing one. We did view a few others prior to Vine Place but we felt unnerved by the dealers . I then booked a time to come and view the car I wanted. The guy I dealt with wasn't even a sales rep but that didn't put me off at all, as his extensive knowledge was top tier and I even asked him questions about other aspects like LPG and petrol types and he soon put my queries to rest. They offered me the chance to drive other Elgrands to see the difference in handling (mine has coil over suspension) and offered to replace to standard if I wished..... Free of charge!!! Once I was happy and made my decision, we then went through the optional extras I could add on.eg. English conversation, towbar etc, all very reasonably priced. He then gave me a time frame on when the works would be completed and ready to collect. A few weeks later we came and collected. I did pick up on a thing or two but was rectified within minutes. Zero hassle!! All in all we were extremely happy with how we was dealt with and the customer service was great!! I would highly recommend! I would to mention the guy especially that dealt with us on the Saturday we came up to view. I'm sorry I forgot his name but he definitely made us buying an Elgrand from Vine Place a definite. Thank you Vine Place.

Great experience from start to finish! We mainly dealt with Karl who was able to give us confidence in knowing the features and benefits of all models. Vine Place was recommended to us by a friend and their reputation is justified. Showing us around the different models of Nissan Elgrand allowed us to select the right one for us - a 3.5l E51 Rider S. Also matched to our budget. No hard sell, we were put completely at ease. When we made the decision, we were then invited back a week later to view our vehicle. And test drive it. We confirmed our order and on collection, it had been fully prepped with some extra and unexpected work carried out, such as new tyres, pads and discs and bodywork. I was impressed! Also, having never bought a Japanese import before, Vine Place give you peace of mind that required work to make the vehicle UK-ready has been done. You don’t get this with every Japanese import seller! So, I would happily recommend Karl, Karen, Dave and everyone at Vine Place. Great service and peace of mind and nothing was too much trouble. We love our Elgrand and we’ll always bring it back for its annual service.
