So I collected our van in July 2021, we had spoke about a fridge but there wasn’t one, so after some discussion Graham agreed a compressor fridge was what I needed To run from out solar...when he eventually got one it's wasn't a compressor, was told to go and try it out, when I returned to say it was no good, I was told I couldn't return it as it was now used 😤 I was charged silly money for a fridge no use to me, so again I lost money selling and buying another myself. Anyways lesson learned. Back to the van, first time out in it, I discovered I had no cupboard door under the oven, he assured me he could sort that out for me. June 2022 and it’s still not fixed....big sigh !! Also on that first trip I discovered that my oven wouldn’t work. (which was tested before I was given the van apparently). So thankfully he fixed that for me when I brought it in, simple fix that shouldn’t have come loose if fitted properly in my opinion. The water system was an impossible task to use while away from the house, a carpet panel to be removed every time we need to fill up is a joke. The panel gets wet when its wet outside which then puts damp in the van, the screw holes are now worn to the point the screws just fall out, and the same problem removing the actual water bottle (which was actually a diesel bottle for a heater)as no garden hoses available while off grid. So he said he'd fix it in 2 weeks, then 4 weeks, and now it’s June 2022 and still it’s not fixed..... The next issue occurred when we found 2 large screws(definitely not small ones) sticking out the roof of our van. His first response to this was that the screws were already like that.....eh I think not !! so after a look he agreed it was his blame, well actually he blamed his colleague as he wasn’t there. He set about fixing it, but in all fairness a quick fix is never going to last, or repair permanent damage to our van. Anyway he did what he could at the time. So when I then had my van at the paint shop for a respray, that damage/repair was well noticed. I ended up having to pay for a body shop repair on the roof before it could be painted. Another expense that could have been avoided !! It was also discovered that our solar panel was not fully sealed to the van roof as a puddle was sat under it and couldn’t escape. The next discovery was that not one bit of the sealant was stuck round our skylight ! We have had several days with water leaking into the van but as it was at the paint shop and body shop repair place, we didn’t know as quick as we should. So once the problem was found, the screws were removed and voila the whole skylight just lifted off the roof, not one bit was stuck/sealed down. The next trip out, a bit further afield, went to turn the gas on to discover it was leaking into our van, the connection at the top of the bottle had become damaged during our journey. Thankfully neither of us smoke or we may have gone up with a bang ! We have now discovered that it is a legal requirement to have gas fitted in a secure gas box, with a drop out valve. Something we didn’t know but I would have thought a professional business would have. Almost a very costly mistake. Slightly less serious but our original seats were fitted with swivel plates, once fitted I was very slightly too high to reach the pedals properly. He simply said to go and find other seats. Not major but also not the most helpful to rectify it. So after almost a full year I still don’t have the perfect van. I’m having to borrow even more money to fix problems that should never have been there in the first place, electrics in the van look like a child has been playing with them, wires everywhere, and crimped over the actual wires, so plastic clamped onto battery 🤦🏼‍♀️ diesel heater had to be ripped out and replaced as very insecure and simply dangerous to anyone in the van !! It’s now been pointed out that our windows are fitted squint so touching the paintwork at one end, It’s the only thing left that’s not broke yet so we will watch this space... *THIS BUSINESS SHOULD ACTUALLY BE SHUT DOWN* !!

After taking very much persuading from my better judgement I decided to use this place for a van refit as the layout when we bought it wasn’t to our liking. We gave them about three different layouts that we wanted. And also asked for a new awning to be fitted. What we ended up with wasn’t a layout of our choosing and an awning that leaked as the holes they’d drilled weren’t sealed. Then there’s the gas works that was done. The electric water heater was fitted next to the water tank which I’ve since been told is illegal. When we used the van for the first time our carbon monoxide detector went haywire and it was later found there were 4 gas leaks at every joint and on top of that the vent hose for the fridge was pointing into the van instead of the vent to the outside. The awning has been fitted too far back so when you are on site and put the awning up the door to the van is outside the awning! Small finishing details inside the van are not very good. Trust me if you thinking of rejuvenating your camper do it yourself. For just over £7500 I was charged I’d have got my layout finished to a higher standard if I’d done it myself using you tube tutorials and my roof wouldn’t have leaked. Amateur at best. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy STAY CLEAR!!!!!

I got my VW T5 de-valued here about 3 years ago. I'm surprised to find this outfit still in business. - Every window leaked. - The headliner trim and lights fell out every few miles - There was a comical amount of insulation installed (see the photo of the bubble foil in the side panel, and the photo showing complete absence of insulation behind the headliner). - There was glue overspray on the rear doors. - There was paint and window adhesive in places it shouldn't have been. Don't let your van be murdered here.

What an absolute nightmare of a place. We booked our VWt5 in to have a poptop roof and glass installed all round. To start the materials used are extremely poor.(Daystar Poptop) The Poptop roof has been installed squint, with a very poor finish, there is sealant oozing from under glass and one of the windows he attached fell off when my wife was driving, luckily it was parked and not driving on a main road!! We complained to him about the standard of work he had carried out. He blamed my 12yr old son for the squinting Poptop, his assumption was he was jumping on it.!! and that it never left his place like that, until we provided video evidence that it was like that when it left And the other issues where just cosmetic. After we complained several times and contacted the motor trade association he would offer a refund only after HE removed the roof and leave us with a hole where it used to be. We should have taken it further but decided to take partial refund A very difficult man to deal with. Very dismissave and will blame the costumer rather than take ownership of his poor standard of work. Avoid Avoid Avoid Update. Every window this cowboy fitted has now fallen off!! I can't stress enough stay away from this useless man.

Hired it for a week. had never driven a van in my life...we drove along tiny narrow passing places with now space and big drops on either side ( I think I should have opened my eyes mind!) Van was amazing I went miles on practically no fuel. Graham was kind and sweet and always helpful. Great size of van to REALLY enjoy Scotland....drove like a dream and as easy as a car to drive...easier in many ways. Only issue my dogs loved it and refused to come out! Thanks G hugely and hilly recommended.
