left my van for a quote, said he could do it cheaper than quotes I had, 3rd january 2024. Went week later for quote, he had cut roof and sides out for windows without my permission, gave me a quote on 2nd feb, over 10k more than statement campers castleford. I was stuck no roof on van. gave him 12.5k early feb. Had to make payments to his girlfriend Julie gray logistics as I later discovered debt collector was trying to recover money for ccj's. Kept asking for more money 4k, wouldn't do any work. In June national consumer rights said just get it away and take him to court. I told him to put roof and windows in and I'd take it somewhere else to get finished. He did it took him 4 months. (october, over 10 months from cutting roof off) I'd been quoted 4.5k for a roof and 1.3k for windows so thought the 12.5k I'd already given would cover it. He wants another 4k to release my van. Going to court. PS Says carn't get money back from Julie Gray logistics because its a holding account. Chris Gardener,

My partner took his van to get a quote for a pop top but the bailiffs were outside trying to gain entry!! Looked into the company and the online reviews and it seems we've had a lucky escape!!!

my 70 year old dad went for a quote for a full conversion in January 2024. He’s was given a quote and said the van would be finished at the latest May 2024. Ready for summer so he and my disabled mum could enjoy using it through the summer months. A £12500 deposit to start the work was paid. The roof and sides of the van were cut out but no work started. Fast forward to May 2024 and no other work had been done. Held to ransom as no roof so couldn’t drive away. Still no work started in June. So my dad said to just put the roof and windows in and he would go elsewhere for the rest of the conversation. By this time we had started to find out about court cases and CCJs for previous bad work and damages to vehicles which he denied. He also threatened my dad and said he would burn the van down if he didn’t pay him another £4000. Also found out he did this to another customer. And got taken to court for damages. Police were informed about this incident. A roof (second hand) and windows were finally put in in October 2024. Still demanding another £4000 when the work completed was around £6500 as per his original quote and that included a new roof not second hand, and had already received £12500. Every time my dad asked for an invoice or gone to try retrieve the van he has called the police on him and still has the van. We are now having to drag it through the courts to get the van back and recover some money and extra costs. Still ongoing 15 months after he first got the van. Asks for money to be paid into his partners account Julie grey logistics so there is no trace to him. Previous CCJ attatched as he is full of lies and deceit.

Please avoid this company at all costs. Talks like a professional but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Adds thousands on to original quotes. Very unprofessional and aggressive when confronted about actual costs. Shoddy workmanship. Had to make a claim against him for damage to my van. Dangerous to drive after he had finish with it.

Came to my rescue today when I rang and asked for advice on my HiLo Pop-top, which I couldn’t pack down correctly. Turns out, they didn’t fit it originally but still guided me through my problem remotely and wouldn’t take any payment. Absolutely brilliant!
