Neil SteenkisteAfter much researching we asked Jo Bishop of Kestrel Van Conversions to build our second camper (we learned our mistakes with our first vehicle!). We took our empty van for Jo to convert it, alternatively he would source and supply a vehicle. A couple of hours planning resulted in the vehicle we have enjoyed from Day 1. It’s a 6 metre vehicle big enough for two tall people to live, comfortably, in complete with shower & toilet, LPG gas and electric heating for warm air and water, gas oven, 3 ring hob, sink, fridge/freezer, underslung fresh water & waste water, 3rd seat for occasional extra person, 3 Velux top venting windows, 3 side opening windows, stored table, rear storage area, loads of storage space & cupboards, solar panel for domestic battery topup and LED lighting throughout. Do your own research, check the Manufacturer’s products (and eyewatering prices!), then ask Kestrel to build a bespoke vehicle to your specification that you actually want. We did and we’ve travelled all over UK and Europe in it, enjoying every trip.
