Honestly & quality work, I highly recommend them. Had a quote for around £400 When the work was being done they found some parts could be repaired and charged me £130.
Had the wet belt done on my transit custom. Kept me fully updated and done a spot on job. Would always be my first choice of garage
I’ve been taking my car to Mann Motors for 15 years and always had great service. Received the same excellent service from them today when they managed to book my car in very last minute to fix my brakes prior to a long journey. Would highly recommend this garage.
I’ve unfortunately had a very poor experience with Mann Motors. I booked my Son’s car in to repair the wiper motor – I said that the car is due MOT soon, so asked them to carry this out after and then we may look at a service. Instead of doing this, they carried out the MOT on the vehicle straight away, which failed with one of the points being the broken wiper motor…. They then called to tell us of the failed MOT, and the extent of the work the car would require (vastly more than its value). At this point I obviously asked them to hold fire on further work while we decide what to do. They then told us the service had already been started, and that we would have to pay for that. When we went down to collect it, they said the vehicle was out on a test drive (?) – bear in mind the vehicle had just failed MOT – they then offered to take the car off our hands, and they would write off the invoice for the MOT/service (approx. £275). When we refused this offer, someone came out quickly to write down the MOT number on the paperwork. Could it be that they were attempting to get the car very cheaply to sell on? Seems very possible. This is a 17-year-old car with less than 70,000 on the clock, so many parts are still in good condition. When questioned, the only response was “you should be more careful what you book in”. Considering they didn’t bother doing the main thing we booked in, this is a strange response I think. Another local garage has since completed the work for less than half of the price we were quoted by Mann Motors. I would strongly suggest to avoid using this company, especially when there are many other garages in the town who will offer an honest service.

Excellent service from this garage. Always so helpful & friendly. They have done numerous jobs for me on my Iveco Daily & I have always been happy with the work & the prices. I was recently due to drive my van to France as we have sold up & moving over there but the battery had died. The guys ordered me a new battery, fitted it & got me on my way all free of charge as the battery was still under guarantee. Thanks again guys!
