As first time motorhome experience, we could not be more happy with the experience we had with Tartan Campers. Was a brilliant way to see the Scottish Islands. The van was excellent and had everything we needed already included (gas, water, bottle opener!). Julie was excellent right from the start and made everything easy. The van itself had plenty of room (for a van) for 2 adults. We’re glad we didn’t go with anything bigger as it made navigating the Scottish roads very easy. Would highly recommend to anyone hiring a van for the first time.
I have been recommending since we booked in May 2024 as a surprise for our friend from New Zealand. Stuart was super helpful, vans look great and never let us down. Comfy and warm. We had a blast spending a week in the van travelling around the NC500 and beyond

Craftsmanship and service are superb, quality of finish and staff are very friendly and helpful in bringing your vision to become reality. I have a few more items to do so will be in touch again shortly. Cannot recommend Stuart and his team highly enough. I had my seats retrimmed, headlining front and back and pillars retrimmed and a few bespoke items made by hand in the rear also, spare wheel carrier and filler panels, roof mounted aerial. Pictures don't do it justice.
Delighted with finish of conversion with excellent attention to detail and quality fittings. Good communication from Stuart who answered all our questions, of which there were many 😂 We had a big wish list and they were all met and more. A big shout out also to lady that does seat covering- the leather finish and design, all done by hand, is beautiful!.
