Mate van is brilliant. So pleased with it, proud and excited at the same time. Driving home it was silent on the road, always a worry of mine that a van will rattle on the road, but it was perfect. Currently near Padstow. Spent 3 days living in the car park at The Eden Project with permission from its founder. Everyone was asking me if I was the guy living in the van, as they all struggle with dodgy hotels and waiting for taxis in the rain. Still wouldn’t change anything really. When we initially considered purchasing a campervan we first rented a van from Camper Camper for a weeks holiday, to try van life out . We were so pleased with their van that when we were in a position to buy a van we contacted Tom at Camper Camper. Tom supported us through the process of buying a van . We met with him to discuss our wants and needs. He was very informative , and patient throughout the process . We are thrilled with the incredible craftmanship and attention to detail from the team at Camper Camper . They transformed our vision into reality , fitting our van with the Atlas range system flawlessly. Every detail from sleek design to the innovative storage solutions exceeded our expectations . Just a quick word to thank Tom and all the team at Camper Camper, I wanted a new smart TV, fridge freezer and bike rack fitting to my T4 VW transporter hightop. Tom explained the work fully and took full account of the bespoke design that needed to be carried out due to the age and interior of the vehicle. This included advising and replacing new gas struts on the tailgate to take the additional weight of the bike rack. The work was completed in a professional and timely manner and I was kept informed of the progress through the build. Excellent customer service ⭐️ Highly recommend
We could not be happier with our van conversion from Camper Camper. We discovered them via Instagram and from initial messages, to meeting in person, to handover of the completed conversion, the process was targeted to our needs and wishes for our conversion. We were able to discuss in detail what we wanted out of our conversion, with the designs adapted to our needs. Given this was our first conversion, the expertise and knowledge of the team was invaluable and they guided us through the whole process. During the conversion itself we were kept updated regularly regarding progress made and always asked for our views when troubleshooting. The quality of the conversion is unlike anything we have seen elsewhere. The finish and quality of products is very high. We were able to add to the specification and adapt the plans during the conversion with no challenges. The guys at Camper Camper are incredibly friendly and approachable and nothing was ever too much trouble. The handover was excellent. We were given a thorough and detailed explanation of all technical aspects the van and shown how to use everything. The aftercare service was of equally high quality. We were able to maintain contact via WhatsApp to ask any questions whilst away in the van and always received a really prompt response. We would recommend Camper Camper to anyone wishing to have a van conversion and are so happy with the end product.
Carpeted, Electrics & Build Bed. Timeframe, 2 weeks took 7 weeks in total. No notes taken during my visit. Emailed a list over that was partly ignored. Wanted, Folding bed - Jams between the walls. Rotating extractor - One fitted does not rotate. Solar panel - Fitted so i can't fold my folding roof rack or it will damage the solar panel. Light Switches & USB’s @ NS front / sliding door pillar & OSR door pillar - Got 1 set on NS wall and 1 reading light i didn't request. Needs another now. Carpeted over existing working 12v Socket at OSR Door for some reason. 4 x Roof Spotlights on Dimmer, 1 is brighter than other 3. LED strip in floating ceiling - So weak it's of no use. Curtains - First set too small, second set too long. Rubber flooring - Misprinted or used. Some fittings fell apart on first use. Silver screws with no screw covers on black fittings. Loose cable & power unit under passenger seat. Extra dents in back doors that weren't there when i took the van in. Van covered in road dirt and seagull muck each time I collected it. Communication was really poor and so was the finish. Overall i didn't enjoy the experience and would not recommend them. Thanks for the reply Tommy. As I mentioned in my initial review you never took any notes from my two visits and that is why I put my requests in emails. You didn’t reply as a customer would expect. I offered to have input so I would be happier with the finish because you never took any notes and I knew it would cause problems in the end which it did. I was so disappointed on my first visit due to you putting all I asked for where you wanted it. I had put a cable to the rear door for you to use for the power at the back doors and you removed it and carpeted over the existing cig lighter. You would have remembered me telling you IF you had written it down. At no point did you pre warn me or give me feedback to any of your compromises apart from the centre console you re built that I don’t mention because you did exactly what I asked you not to and then remade it. The quality of your finish is evident in the pictures. I really can’t recommend you based on what I paid you and what I got. PS. I've also added a pic of the non rotating roof vent in white I didn't request that you so cheaply painted black instead of changing for a black rotating one as I requested when I brought the van back that you said you would put right. I even offered to pay for the one I wanted but you never replied when I asked for the dimensions of the hole. Thanks.
