Craig invited us to his workshop to see his current LWB van conversion in its final stages, and we were blown away by the care and craftsmanship. We handed over a deposit without a van, a plan, or even a proper idea of what we wanted. We didn’t speak to another converter. Honestly, I was bored of seeing companies converting Sprinters to the same spec and charging ridiculous prices. Craig’s approach was the complete opposite. It was personal, creative, and built with integrity. We sold our house, bought a Mercedes Vario, and had it delivered to him. As promised, Craig cracked on straight away. This was not an easy build: a van (not the easiest van to convert) for a family of five, plus a cat and dog, but his dedication, craftsmanship, and constant research at every stage were extraordinary. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Every single detail was bespoke. Craig took time to give his perspective if we felt overwhelmed, helping us make the right decisions every step of the way. Because of that, our van life is nothing short of perfect. People warned us that van life isn’t easy or glamorous, but they haven’t worked with Craig. Our van makes vanlife a dream. We honestly can’t believe how well we live in it compared to our old three-bed house, all thanks to Craig’s vision and skill. I can’t imagine another van converter who cares as much, gives as much, or believes so strongly in the “can-do” spirit as Craig. Truly, there isn’t a better van converter for your build. Hire him. Don’t look elsewhere. Spend that time instead thinking about what would make your van perfect for you, and communicate that to Craig. He’ll make it happen. I’m writing this after a week on the road, about to cross the border into Portugal, in a van most people can only dream of. What a dream.
