We went for a second hand van previously converted to the original owners spec; the red and blue may be a bit "Marmite" but we love it! Our first trip was fantastic, primarily due to the great service and habitation check by Mikey, we remembered how everything worked, oh, and the weather helped a bit! Both Lucy and Mikey were very attentive throughout our buying process and we never felt any pressure to buy, in the end we didn't even bother to look elsewhere (partly because some of the other local companies that do conversions didn't even bother to follow up our initial enquiries!) We've still got lots to learn about van life but feel that both Lucy and Mikey will be there, if needed, to support us.

I have given 5 stars because Google doesn’t have 6 stars. The team at Retrofitted are all so passionate about their product and rightly so. I searched for months to find the right people to convert a transporter for me and I am delighted with the outcome. They helped source the van, supported us every step of the way, and pleasingly advised us to avoid a few tweaks we wanted to include - they were right. The owners and team have campervans themselves so they are really qualified to offer practical advice on your conversion. Top drawer.

Not only did they produce the most spectacularly finished camper that totally exceeded our wildest dreams, but they did it in such a super and friendly way that I can’t think of any other company that could match their skill or attention to detail…! Retrofitted were tasked to undertake the work on our van out of desperation as we had previously been not only let down, but for want of a better phrase ‘robbed’ by another company who had originally been given the opportunity to create or dream van. Needless to say that our dream van would have never materialised, even if the work had been finished by the first company and the boys at Retrofitted really did save the day..! As you can see they’ve produced a layout to our design but professionally put together and brought to reality in only a way that Retrofitted could…!
