Couldn’t fault a thing from our experience of having our camper conversation done with Steve & his team. Everything to our own design & at nearly half the price of other quotes we had. Still, has every top brand & gadget included too. We have already had some amazing trips & van life in our camper is definitely home from home. Excellent service from all at SummersDay campers & the aftercare has been fantastic. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Steve again for all our additional van needs. Great lads & service with a high-quality finish on our van.
Steve is very passionate about what he does and what they do at SummersDay Campers is extremely good. I got a pop-top roof installed on Mitsubishi Delica D5 and they were happy to talk through all my options from “you could just throw an air bed in the back and it’d work” to a full conversion with bespoke cabinets and a rock and roll bed. I’ll definitely be back and get them to do the rest of the work!

We couldn’t be happier with our luxurious camper conversion from Summerdays campers in Sheffield. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to meet our needs and really listened to what we wanted. Even after the handover, they welcomed us back for a few minor alterations to make sure everything was absolutely perfect for us. We’ve just returned from a trip to the Peak District where the van performed flawlessly everything worked exactly as it should, and the attention to detail really made the difference. We’re now confidently planning a trip of a lifetime through Denmark, Norway, and Sweden next year to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, and we know the van will be more than up to the adventure. Highly recommend Summerdays Campers for anyone looking for quality, craftsmanship, and a company that genuinely cares about its customers.
Campers on Face Book and called in to see what was on offer. Steve wasn’t there at the time but we had a warm welcome from the lads on site - we were given a tour by his son Bailey. On our follow up visit Steve showed us what was available from vehicles to interiors and extras. We had a few extras of our own which Steve was more than happy to accommodate ie Two ARB Awnings, sun visor, rock sliders, bonnet protector & mud flaps, plus an extra plug socket in the interior. Steve is genuinely one of the good guys & has a great team by his side. Expert advice, quality workmanship, updates & communication throughout the whole process. We also had a bit of a personal emergency situation & Steve went above and beyond to help out with that too. If you’re wanting a Camper-van look no further - We cannot recommend Summers Day Campers highly enough. We are out in her every chance we get & we are forever grateful to Steve and his team for making our Camper dream come true
Pleasure to deal with We were initially planning on buying a converted van but realised with two kids we really needed the ability to slide seats forward similar to a California. Found a post on showing the Vulcan Slide and quality of work by Summers Day work so decided to go take a look. Steve happily showed us a few different vans offering advice throughout, we found a panel van and got it to them having been to a few others converters none seemed anywhere near as helpful and the quality didn't feel or look the same so we booked in with Steve We are over moon with the van and the quality of components and work is top notch, they have a variety of packages and ability to add extras like the sliding seat/bed, underslung water tank, upgrade heater etc We called in a few times to get measurements for pop top, check progress and all the lads were really helpful too Very highly recommend and wish them success we will and have been happily recommending to friends and passers by asking were it was done
I bought my van with the interior in. I took it to Steve at Summer Days to put me a pop top on as well as adding a sink, fridge & swivel seat all of which have been completed to a high standard and I couldn’t be happier. I also had a carbon monoxide monitor which I told Steve was activating if he wouldn’t mind checking my heater. He noticed it was in a poor state and has fitted me with a brand new one with a thermostat, not only that but he fixed a leak for me in the diesel tank which was caused by the previous owner. I can’t recommend this guy enough, such a great business. And let’s say, his interiors that he has available are so much better than mine, so I’m sure I’ll update my review in the next few months with one of those in too.
