⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you are looking to buy a campervan, with so many options out there, please look no further than The Campervan Factory, Tewkesbury. In our opinion these guys offer THE VERY BEST customer service. We knew we wanted a VW Campervan, but were unsure of the process of buying one, knowing that our budget didn’t run to a ‘new’ base van, but realised we could afford a ‘used’ van with a newly converted interior. We found The Campervan Factory online and visited late in the day one Saturday afternoon, 2024. Whilst, we had been expecting a large forecourt of ready converted vans, to peruse, we found a small understated sales setup, which initially we weren’t sure about. But had we driven away, it would have been our biggest mistake. The guys were professional and incredibly approachable, and took time to explain the buying process, and how they carefully select top quality vans that they convert to each customer’s specification. They showed us all of the interior options from their small display area, and a specification list of extras eg, pop top, diesel heater, awning etc that you can choose to include or not. They answered all our ‘novice’ questions, with knowledge and humour, no hard sell, just incredibly genuine, friendly guys offering a fantastic service. We had the opportunity to view a number of their completed vans awaiting new owners’ collection, and were so impressed, and felt confident that The Campervan Factory could help us realise our dream of owning a VW Camper. S SOLD! The buying process was seamless, and we have been enjoying trips away in ‘Luna’ our 2018 VWT6 now for the last 2 years. After deciding to take the plunge & buy a camper the next question was from where. We came across The Campervan Factory on eBay, sent a message giving our budget range & our minimum requirements which were a diesel heater & a rock & roll bed which was iso fix child seat compatible. Mark replied very quickly with the costs & a list of potential Campervans they had in stock, in conversion or ready to be converted. Following a couple more questions, Mark suggested that we come down to the factory and have a look at a campervan that was ready to be converted and was within our budget range. This was very encouraging, being able to see the campervan in the flesh during conversion gave us a lot of confidence. On visiting The Campervan Factory, we were blown away by the quality of the conversions, there were 3 vans ready for collection plus one that just about to be started on, which was already looking good with a new set of 18” black Wolfrace wheels and tires freshly fitted. By the time Mark had finished giving us the tour we were sold & put down a deposit on the ready to be converted van. When asked when it would be ready we were very surprised when Mark said 4 weeks! They are a very professional outfit that know what they are doing, they have a good range of cupboards colours, worktops & flooring. The van had a full service history, we chose a high mileage van that fitted within our budget, Mark & his team gave it a complete service, replacing the important parts based on the mileage. We picked the van up a month later as planned. While getting used to the van we messaged Mark a few times, he always replied quickly and was happy to help. We cannot recommend The Campervan Factory enough. If I were to describe “The Campervan Factory” in a few words it would be “Quality, confidence & customer focused”

What a great team. Purchased my first vw campervan through the Campervan Factory. It was a great experience from start to finish. After seeing the stock online I put down a deposit and then visited the showroom to confirm the specification. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and knowledgeable and gave me confidence this was a team that cared about the customer. When I took possession of the van I was shown all the necessary controls and had a chance to practice (raising roof and operating heaters etc). I have no hesitation in recommending the team at the Campervan Factory.
Quite easily the best vehicle experience I have ever had! My requirements for a camper were: must have AC, must have a Pop Top Roof and Must have a Diesel Heater. I spotted The Campervan Factory all over eBay and AutoTrader and noticed all their vans had AC, Pop Tops... Time to make my move. Mark was very fast to respond to my initial enquiry and provided a full list of vehicles they had ready for conversion. I decided that I would make the journey and see the team and have a look with my eyes at what they were all about. Mark greeted my wife and I and was so so helpful and put zero pressure on us but explained his constraints and we explained our situation. "I need a van to live in from January and it must have X, Y & Z!" Mark understood and showed us what we could expect and offered us an updated list, printed out. We went away and discussed the plan going forward. Over the phone we confirmed we'd like to put a deposit down on their December build date so that the van would be ready on 20 December. We stayed in the area and Mark was still in the office even after closing time! We went back to discuss in person. Mark was honest, thorough and keen to give us what we wanted and at a price we were all happy with. With my decisions made about the trim colours and the added extras I wanted, Mark went to work and we had the "final" invoice by the Monday! As promised, Mark sent me photos throughout the build and kept me up to speed with everything. Along the way I made it a little more difficult by adding yet more extras. Again, Mark took it in his stride and dealt with me professionally and made it so! What a guy! Fast forward two weeks and a week before the conversion was to start (all mechanical and body work had now been done and some of the internals had been started), Mark called outta the blue but nowlt unwelcome, telling me that he was ahead of schedule and that the van could be released to me 2 weeks ahead of the agreed date!! I jumped for joy and regressed back to my 8 year old self waiting for Santa to deliver my presents! Mark again, kept me up to date with the vans progress and answered all the questions I had, even out of hours which I can't tell you how much that meant to me! Mark began sending through final invoices and payment details. He was very accommodating about how we paid. He sent recommendations for insurances and helpful tips before taking custody of my van! What a guy! I collected the van on 6 December and was given a thorough walk-through-talk-through if everything I need to know about. Being brand new to campervaning this was hugely helpful! I drove away very happy and excited to spend more money on making this van my own. The work completed was top drawer! Attention to detail was incredible. I got home and started playing! I did notice the headlight beam height switch was broken and contacted Mark to ask where he thought would be best to buy a new one from... "Joe, I'll order one and send it to you." What a guy! After nearly a week of ownership the coolant warning message popped up with a red warning light! I contacted Mark and again, overly helpful! Mark said "I'll collect it Monday and have it turned around and sorted as fast as we can!" I didn't have to ask, it was just sorted. A guy turned up after an hour and a half s drive with a loner car for me and took the van away to be repaired. I can't thank Mark and the rest of the Campervan Factory team enough! I highly recommend you to at least speak to them first and see what they can do for you! Thank you, Mark! You've been amazing both before and after! I'll be back for more upgrades and help!

From the very first phone call to the moment I drove my new campervan away, the team at The Campervan Factory have been absolutely brilliant. Friendly, attentive, and professional from start to finish — you can tell they genuinely care about making sure you’re happy, not just when you hand over the money, but after you’ve driven off. I’d looked at a few other converters before deciding, but The Campervan Factory stood out for their attention to detail, their clear communication, and the fact that nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The layout they built for me is perfect, practical, comfortable, and finished to such a high standard that it genuinely feels like a home on wheels. Like with most new conversions, I had a couple of small teething problems after I picked the van up. Sam and Mark couldn’t have been more helpful. Sam quickly arranged for the van to be collected from my home (over 100 miles away, which saved me a big trip!), and Mark got straight on with sorting everything. He kept me updated the whole way through, and within just three days the van was back on my driveway — everything fixed, running perfectly. That kind of thoughtfulness and service is so rare these days. The quality of their work is top-notch, and their after-sales support is honestly second to none. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to them for my next van. Absolute perfect customer relations and their knowledge, advice, helpfulness, care and attention is second to none. I purchased a van from them over a year ago and have done 2 European trips, the last being 6000 miles. The van never missed a beat throughout. Any advice needed (I’m not technically minded) Mark was there at the end of the phone or Email to help me out. Update April 2024: Two years on and I still love my Campervan as much as the day I bought it. Despite having clocked up over 100,000 miles, which admittedly is hardly high mileage for a VW Transporter, it has sailed through two MOTs and I have not encountered any serious mechanical or electrical issues which is testament to The Campervan Factory’s insistence on only sourcing the best vans with impeccable histories. I can also vouch for TCF’s aftercare. Last year I had a couple of extremely minor issues. The team fitted me in between other conversions and rectified the issues absolutely free of charge! Here’s to at least another two years of travels and adventures in my lovely Campervan! *Original review below - April 2022* Absolutely delighted with my campervan which I bought last month. There are professional conversion companies closer to home but I chose The Campervan Factory after reading the many positive reviews. And I’m pleased I did! I bought a converted van from The Campervan Factory in December 2019, so had it a while to to be able to provide a longer term review. Dealing with The Campervan Factory throughout the purchase and conversion (it was mid conversion when I purchased it, and I had a few extra bits added to the spec) was good. They quickly and professionally sorted out minor teething issues post purchase. Since my purchase the van has been to another auto electrician who added a solar panel, and he was complementary of the standard of work in the conversion. Whilst hunting for a camper I came across a few vehicles (from other places) that were not in great condition. This was a particular area of concern as I didn’t want to spend money on a converted van that had previous been mistreated and wouldn’t be reliable. The Campervan factory assured me they are very selective when purchasing vans for conversion. This has been ratified since by a local trusted VAG specialist when I took the van for its first MOT and service. They commented on the good condition of the vehicle for a van of its mileage and age. Overall really happy with my experience dealing with The Campervan Factory and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality conversion with crash tested seats and high level spec (proper black out curtains, robust units, reliable electrics).
