IH Motorhomes

We live in mid Wales and saw the Benimar Melio 202 on a Google search. IH Motorhomes seemed a bit too far to travel, however, after a couple of phone calls and WhatsApp exchanges we decided to go and view it. We left a deposit after discussing what extras we wanted completing before we purchased it. We mainly dealt with Tristan who was very professional as were the other staff members, Sean, Gerry and Luke. We had a small issue of a leaking skylight and an electrical fault the day after we collect the Mileo 202, these were both quickly rectified. We highly recommend this company and look forward to dealing with them again in the future.

After having a Leisure Battery replaced on my IH630 with a local Electrical dealer, it appeared that there was a potential problem on the wiring system. I contacted Luke Weston 'After Sales Mngr' at IH & he was very accommodating in giving me a convenient date to have a diagnostic test carried out. Thankfully no issues were detected & Luke was thorough in explaining the test results. Despite the 250mile trip to IH it was worth the Journey knowing my 630RL had a clean bill of health from the team that build them, thankyou IH & a special thankyou to Luke, First Class service Many Thanks.

As I can no longer drive my motorhome due to a medical condition we contacted a few dealerships. Some said it was the wrong time of year to sell and others would only take it on sale or return. From the outset Sean at IH Motorhomes understood our circumstances and was always positive. Once we sent him the details he gave us a price, kept us informed and always returned our calls. With a colleague he drove down to Gloucestershire from Knottingley to collect our van. After examining the van he kept to the price offered and it was a pleasure to deal with him. It took a lot of worries off our shoulders. It was such a relief to find a company and salesman that kept to their word. Thank you so much Sean and IH Motorhomes: you have been absolutely brilliant.

We have an IH 630RL which we have had for six years, we decided to look at a trade with IH for something newer. Tristan chatted to us about what we were looking for and have to say what a pleasant fella, he was very patient! Huge decision when it comes to spending so much money, we looked at the Iveco heavy chassis 4.5t display vehicle. Now this review is a bit different to a usual review, that’s because we didn’t, in the end do a deal, but the sales guy Tristan was so helpful and so patient we decided he and IH deserved a good review from us. We love our current van and love the build quality of IH, we could see the quality of the Iveco conversion and it would give us two things we were looking for, a decent size boot / garage and permanent fixed rear single beds. We spent hours with Tristan, we live fairly close to IH and one of our concerns was being able to fit the vehicle on our drive. Tristan even arranged for a test drive to include parking in our parking area at home! Sadly though we reluctantly decided in the end that the Iveco base vehicle wasn’t the one for us, we have told Tristan / IH what we want and hopefully something else will arrive at their depot that will fit the bill for us. The point I suppose I and my hubby want to make though is that IH build quality is excellent and sales staff are both patient and no pressure! Something that is a pleasant change.
