I asked kent poptops if they could remove old poptop on my t5 and replace with new drivelogde and flexi solar panel which they did to an excellent standard.Dan and the team are definitely the people to go to for you’re camper needs. would 100% recommend 👍👍
Kentpoptops fitted the Drivelodge poptop to my Toyota Granvia. I had good communications from Dan and Andy, they kept me informed of the progress and sent photos to show, responded to my questions. I am happy with the quality of workmanship and professionalism throughout the build and would recommend them . The cost was very competitive.
We are absolutely thrilled with our new pop-top camper! As a family of four, we needed the extra space, and this conversion has been a dream. The kids have their own cozy bunk up top, and we have a comfortable bed downstairs. The quality of the work is outstanding, and the entire team was so easy and professional to work with. Our summer road trip was unforgettable because of this van.
Kent pop tops do really nice designs and i like the aesthetic of the drivelodge pop top and photonic universe semi flex solar panel especially because i wanted to get into car parks under 2 meters however both failed and trying to get it sorted has been a real issue, the carpet lining / headlining has also failed and sagged.. and the thermal insulation / sound deadening has fallen off the van panels along with some other minor things that have also failed. Tried calling them a dozen or times and i've never managed to speak to them and all emails were ignored. it was only after speaking directly to the manufacturer of the pop top did I get to exchange a couple of whatsapp messages with Dan and was told it can be sorted in a couple of weeks... i kept chased a couple of more times and it's been a year now so i've had to drive up to Yorkshire to get it sorted. Despite the solar panel being under warranty i've had to purchase a replacement one... photonic universe weren't particularly helpful because they required a receipt, which i couldn't get because i couldn't get. Drivelodge on the other hand have been amazing and replaced my faulty roof and installed an upgraded one as well as the new solar panel free of charge.. Kent Pop Tops quoted me £250. Overall, if you decide to get a conversion done expect things to fall apart and not get any help or have it fixed under warranty if you are even lucky enough to speak to someone. Seems like all they need is some full time staff answering the phones / replying to emails. I wanted some more stuff done but will go elsewhere. I'd be happy to write a better review if they made things right buyt this is just my experience so far.

I recently used Kent Pop Tops to have my T6 kombi carpet lined. Dan was more than happy to show me around the workshop and view some of their rental vans (which look awesome!) which reassured me of the quality of their work. I dropped the van off and got a phone call towards the end of the next day saying it was ready - they went above and beyond what I was expecting and had been discussed - for example I wasn’t expecting the bulkhead to be carpeted but it has been. The quality of work is excellent and I am really pleased - the van has been transformed!
