I am completely and hopelessly in love with my Brown Bird & Co van. It was a novel design built around our desire to travel with multiple bikes - they ‘nailed it’! Beautifully designed for four and two wheel adventures. Everything functions perfectly, lots of lovely details and full of colour and character. The van is named Foinaven, after a mountain I climbed with my father from whom I inherited the funds to invest. He loved craftsmanship and the great outdoors. Brown Bird & Co you have done his memory proud - Thank-you!

We’re always impressed by how light the finished vans are, especially considering all the gorgeous hardwoods they use! If all of this isn’t enough, Jaqui and Laura are genuinely great wholesome human beings and are a true pleasure to work with. Life is too short to work with people you don’t like.

Tilly DaviesWe are so happy that we chose Brown bird to convert our van Helga, the ladies named her canny Cairngorms during the build as I am a Geordie. The craftsmanship is first class. They were in constant contact during the build and nothing was too much for them. My van is beautiful and we are constantly asked who built her when we are out and about. I would not go anywhere else in the future if I was to convert another van. They also fitted an awning post build which is not ideal but they did it without question. In my opinion the best van converters in the country.

I just love my van – Coniston. I spent two years looking at campervans and nearly considered converting one myself, and I can honestly say the quality of the finish with Brown Bird was the best. The attention to detail is superb – every part is designed to fit, with a full sized bed, a table and a decent sized kitchen. There are clever touches such as the water tap, USB ports just where you need them, copper pipe lighting, slide out table and fridge. And importantly, the shelves are also just the right size for a bottle of gin- perfect!
Truly one of the best campervan converters in the UK, it’s no wonder that Brown Bird & Co are consistently booked out months in advance. They make campervans that are both beautiful AND functional and the craftsmanship and attention to detail is outstanding. Brown Bird have done a lot of work upgrading our van, including remodelling the cupboards, fitting air conditioning, diesel heater and a high power electrical system. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they always reply to my messages promptly and prices are very reasonable too. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to buy or convert a campervan!
