Truly one of the best campervan converters in the UK, it’s no wonder that Brown Bird & Co are consistently booked out months in advance. They make campervans that are both beautiful AND functional and the craftsmanship and attention to detail is outstanding. Brown Bird have done a lot of work upgrading our van, including remodelling the cupboards, fitting air conditioning, diesel heater and a high power electrical system. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they always reply to my messages promptly and prices are very reasonable too. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to buy or convert a campervan!
I chose Brown Bird & Co for my van conversion, after a lot of research/time on Instagram, because their vans are beautiful, and it’s not just skin deep. Because they live in their van, they know exactly what works and what doesn’t so I got the benefit of all their experience around a practical layout, and quality of fittings and equipment. As a bonus they are also lovely. So it’s win, win, win and I love my van.

I just love my van – Coniston. I spent two years looking at campervans and nearly considered converting one myself, and I can honestly say the quality of the finish with Brown Bird was the best. The attention to detail is superb – every part is designed to fit, with a full sized bed, a table and a decent sized kitchen. There are clever touches such as the water tap, USB ports just where you need them, copper pipe lighting, slide out table and fridge. And importantly, the shelves are also just the right size for a bottle of gin- perfect!
Thank you to Brown Bird for making our dreams become a reality. Their attention to detail is unrivalled, they are extremely professional. The finish on the van went beyond our expectations, it’s everything we hoped for and more. As they live the camper life themselves you couldn’t trust someone more to meet what you want out of your design. I am completely and hopelessly in love with my Brown Bird & Co van. It was a novel design built around our desire to travel with multiple bikes - they ‘nailed it’! Beautifully designed for four and two wheel adventures. Everything functions perfectly, lots of lovely details and full of colour and character. The van is named Foinaven, after a mountain I climbed with my father from whom I inherited the funds to invest. He loved craftsmanship and the great outdoors.
