I have not found any other company that provides such good customer care.
As soon as we met Richard & Sonya and saw the Orange campers set up we knew we’d found the perfect van
We were immediately impressed by the enormous amount of space available together with obvious build quality. It's a mini motorhome that requires much less compromise than the average campervan.
They are very good at building a personalised camper van built to your requirement. Good aftercare sales service and attention to detail. Highly recommend.
Thank you to Orange Campers for upgrading our pop top VW campervan to a high top. Richard and his team helped us every step of the way making the whole process easy and stress free. Being able to stand up in the van plus the skylight, suggested by Richard, has made such a difference. They removed the grill adding a cutlery draw and larger fridge. The extra cupboards matched perfectly making packing a small van so much easier. The insulation means we can use the van all year round. We highly recommend Orange Campers
Friendly, helpful family team for our "try before you buy" 4 day hire. Good handover with most info. given (apart from whereabouts of the waste water tap located quite a way under the van). Van was a Trouville Actif (Ford transit short wheel base with pop up top); good for a couple but I suspect could get cramped for 4; we had wet weather so inside for quite a bit of time.
Having spent many happy times in 'Vera' our T5 VW pop top camper, we decided (as not getting any younger!) that a similar length van with a high top was the next step. So began the search. After viewing numerous styles and makes (Westfalia Nugget, Devon Firefly, Wildax Pulsar, Autosleeper Symbol, Hymer Ayres Rock) found all had too many compromises. It also confirmed the fact that for us, a shower was not such an important factor as the feeling of space and practical storage. In February we stumbled across a 'you tube' video of the Trouvaille Classique high top, and thought Wow! that looks promising. It was the Monday following the Peterborough Show, so all vans were still there. However, Jessica very kindly arranged for Richard to bring the van back earlier than planned for a viewing. We fell in love with it immediately. The feeling of space was incredible for such a small van. The build quality was excellent, providing well thought out, practical storage solutions. It was obvious that it had been designed by someone who actually uses campervans. Richard, Sonya and Jessica could not have been more helpful, even providing invaluable assistance with the sale of our VW. We picked up 'Tilly' on the 15th February and have just returned from our first outing to Castleton, where she was really put to the test with snow and -3 temperatures. Everything worked perfectly and she passed with flying colours, attracting attention from fellow campers intrigued by the size and interior design. If 'Trouvaille' is French for 'a lucky find,' then in our case it certainly was. It is lovely to have found a small family company who take great care and pride in the vans they produce, giving confidence to new owners that a solution can always be found for any problems that may arise. The team at Orange Campers were always available to offer advice and help, and would highly recommend getting in touch if a small, well thought out camper is what you require. We give them a thoroughly well deserved 5* rating
We had been looking for a campervan for some months. A van we could take more or less anywhere and could park on our drive or normal parking space. We had seen a few Volkswagens but were not convinced they were going to be quiet big enough and with a lot of the converters everything seemed to be an extra with base prices quickly escalating. It was at a show in Peterborough we came upon Orange Campers, and the Trouvaille. We were immediately struck by the light spacious interior and harmonious finish. As we got talking to Richard his passion for campervans and particularly this one he had created based on his many years experience as a vehicle engineer , craftsman and end user quickly became apparent. He pointed out some of the finer details like the fully insulated carpeted interior, the integrated gas bottles and heater, solar panel, double glazed window, myriad of lights, USB ports and fitted blinds all round. For two 6 footers, the fact we can nearly stand up straight without popping open the top and sleep well in the 4’6 bed makes life comfortable. The swivel front seats and bed up top mean a family could easily use this van. From first meeting to delivery Richard and Sonya could not do enough to help and have willingly sorted out a few minor teething problems and answered all our questions since taking delivery in September. We have of course only got away for a few long weekends but have found the Trouvaille easy to drive, comfy and most of all a place we can relax and get away from the stresses of work and home. We would thoroughly recommend this family run business and cant wait to start on our bucket list of places to visit as soon as this pandemic allows.
