Wildworx Customs was officially launched in 2019 by co-founders Frazer and Katie Johnson, though Frazer's passion for campervans and road-tripping dates back to his childhood in the 80s, leading him to build his first campervan in 2008. The company has since grown into a recognized UK destination for bespoke, adventure-ready campervan conversions, operating from its workshop in Alcester, Warwickshire. Their mission is to enable customers to explore off-grid and "Play Dirty," drawing on their extensive personal travel experience to craft highly functional and durable vehicles.
The company specializes in high-end, expedition-grade conversions for Mercedes Sprinter, MAN TGE, and Volkswagen Transporter models. They are known for their meticulous craftsmanship, offering bespoke builds with intentionally limited annual production to maintain exacting standards. Their conversions feature expedition-grade shells with full acoustic dampening and four-season insulation, modular interiors, and robust utility systems. Depending on the build, they offer both fully gassless setups with induction hobs or traditional underslung LPG systems, alongside comprehensive electrical systems including high-capacity lithium batteries, solar arrays, and powerful inverters for extended off-grid living. Self-contained water, heating, and washroom systems are also standard, ensuring comfort and independence on the road.
Wildworx Customs provides a comprehensive range of services, from full turnkey conversions for new or customer-supplied base vehicles to selling ready-made campervans. They also offer guidance on base vehicle sourcing and advise on essential accessories like awnings, solar panels, and bike racks. With a 5-year conversion warranty on their builds, the company demonstrates confidence in their quality and commitment to customer satisfaction. Their expertise extends to various components, including pop-top roofs, crash-tested seating, custom cabinetry, and advanced electrical and water management systems, catering to adventurers seeking reliable and high-performance campervans.

I had the great pleasure of having Frazer, Katie and the team at Wildworx build me my dream Crafter. Everything was exemplary from the beginning with them even putting up with my awkward requests. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.Thank you for making my dream van become reality.
We couldn’t be happier with the van and the service received from Frazer and the team. Having looked at a lot of vans, Wildworx’s high standard and professionalism stood out for us, on top of which they are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended - they really know their craft(er)!

Wildworx built my Mercedes Sprinter Expedition Campervan. Outstanding job and I highly recommend the entire team to anyone looking for an expedition vehicle.
LWB Crafter side flairs plus fitting. The experience that we had from start to finish has been nothing short of exceptional. The ordering process was super easy and they were straight in touch to talk us throug the process. They remained in touch through the pods being made and booked us in for the fitting. On arrival everyone was super friendly and accomodating. You can tell that everybody is very passionate about their work. We collected the van the next day and were super happy with the end result. We had a few questions on collection which were perfectly answered (one nothing to do with the side pods) but they still answered in great detail. 10/10 experience Thanks guys.
Had my new wheels delivered super quick form order. And they look amazing. So happy. Can’t fault these guys and highly recommend.
Had an awning rail fitted to my Vivaro C and although it posed some challenges Sam and the lads took it in their stride and were very gracious about the extra time it took them. Brill service and very friendly (nice cuppa Sam👍). Would defo recommend Wildworx and would choose them if I need any work on the van. Thanx again lads👍💪 Steve Carruthers
In March this year, Frazer fitted a pop-top to our T6 van, with bifold bed area. Both Frazer and Katie were super helpful in fitting us in time for an upcoming trip and after a summer of usage I wanted to write a review. I don’t like writing reviews before I’ve used things a few time and can fully recommend the work. We’ve been away a number of times in the Van and everything has worked perfectly, come rain or shine we’ve had no issues at all, other than things being a little stiff at first. We’re Really happy with the work and that’s after a number of trips and that’s after 6months of use!
